  1. Beck needed to make the throw Tua did against Georgia in the title game. A little bit higher and that might have been a TD.
  2. A little surprised Cignetti didn't throw for it on 3rd down there knowing a 1st down ends the game. He was aggressive on the earlier drive on 4th down but went conservative here.
  3. Credit to Miami for sticking around and figuring things out. At halftime, it seemed like this was destined to end something like 24-7 where Indiana just controlled the game.
  4. IU controlled the whole first half, Miami gets one big run early in the second half and all of a sudden it's only a 3 point game. Miami's defense playing pretty well though.
  5. LOL and then they fumble in the red zone. 8 turnovers in this game.
  6. If Houston can just play clean football on offense, this is still a winnable game. Their defense is showing out. EDIT: And as I say that, they get another strip of Maye. Huge if they can get a TD here.
  7. College but Hurts got benched for Tua at halftime of the National Title game. Not exactly the same since I think a lot of people thought Tua was better.
  8. Another pick for Stroud.
  9. Too many injuries for the Houston offense too. Now without their top two pass catchers and their leading rusher.
  10. I haven't watched the Texans much but man Stroud has done some really stupid stuff the last couple weeks. Like why the F are you throwing that ball, backpedaling with a lineman in your face? What exactly are you hoping to accomplish there?
  11. Agreed. I’d have to watch it again but the couple views I saw, if he goes to the ground the same way and the ball just pops out and hits the ground, it’s an incomplete pass. Therefore it can’t be a completed catch and down by contract.
  12. This is so stupid. Hard salary cap and either end deferrals or whatever contract you agree to, for cap purposes it’s paid out over the actual contract (so Tucker would be $60M per year).
  13. People do crazy things to avoid getting picked by the Jets or Raiders.
  14. Pittsburgh looks as likely to get a TD as the Chargers did last night.
  15. Yeah, he's been very underwhelming tonight.
  16. Yeah so that tells me if Houston looks great tonight, that line could easily flip to Hou -1.5.
  17. The number of home underdogs in these playoffs is wild. Steelers, Panthers and Bears were all underdogs and while the Jags closed as the favorite, they were an underdog for most of the week. The largest home favorite was Philly at only -5.5. This week, Denver and the Bears are underdogs. I imagine NE will be favored over Hou/Pitt but if Hou beats Pitt down, I could see them being a small favorite too.
  18. So both the Rams and Bears played Saturday yet their game next week is on Sunday. Meanwhile, the 49ers and Bills played today and both are on short rest against bye teams on Saturday next week. Makes total sense. I know this is because Hou-Pitt is tomorrow so they have to be on Sunday next week. That being said, why not just have 3 games Sat and 3 games Sunday? That's a rhetorical question. The answer is money.
  19. Except there’s a chance if the Pats move on they’ll get Pittsburgh.
  20. This game might be over. I have no faith the Chargers can get 7+ more points offensively.
  21. Man that's a lot of money. Hope he produces.
  22. Nailed it! Says the guy who would have posted the exact same stuff had he been watching the game live rather than recording it. LOL
  23. This is the correct answer. There have been underdogs in soccer who have made long Cup runs and even won it. But Leicester had to be the best team over 38 games.
  24. Doesn’t seem smart to have your starters in up.49-15 in the 4th quarter.
  25. So how exactly is Cignetti doing this? I mean, this isn't a coaching coming into a formerly great program and turning it around. Indiana is a college football doormat. Last year was the first time they've won 10 games in a season. I'm assuming they didn't drop boatloads of NIL money like Texas Tech. And yet they're a game and a half away from becoming the first FBS team since 1899 to win 16 games in a season.
