  1. Anyone ever used this offer if you don’t have T-Mobile or Sprint? A friend of mine and his wife both have T Mobile and he offered to let me use his wife’s subscription since they don’t need two. Do you just set up an email/password to log in?
  2. Pretty much sums up the state of the USMNT the last few years.
  3. Eloy is an even worse defender than the general public thought Schwarber was. Sucks for him and hope he can come back healthy, if not at the end of this year, then next year.
  4. That list has to exclude Ruth right? Bonds’s best season OPS was 1.422 and Ruth’s was 1.379. He had to have a 60 game stretch over 1.500.
  5. The Bevo Conference is in danger of getting only Baylor into the Sweet 16 after being hyped as a dominant basketball conference all season. Yeah, if it wasn’t for the Big 10 crapping the bed as bad as it did, the Big 12 would have had the worst tourney performance. And your post came before Kansas lost by 30.
  6. He’ll have the knees of an 82 year old by the end of that contract.
  7. First time four teams seeded 13 or higher won in the first round. Fourth time 15 of the 16 seeds won a game in the same tournament.
  8. UCSB should have knocked off Creighton. 54% FT shooter for Creighton hits two to give them the lead and UCSB misses a 3 footer at the end to lose.
  9. Good draw for Chelsea in the UCL. They get Porto and then either Liverpool or Real if they win. Meanwhile, Dortmund is the biggest loser. They get Man City and if they win, either Bayern or PSG.
  10. That has to be pretty disappointing. Didn't the Zagreb coach just go to prison this week also? Maybe he was the problem. Assuming they don’t go and win the next four league games to put themselves in UCL position, I hope City hammers them in the League Cup final. I read a few weeks ago part of the reason Jose was still there was because they were still in the Europa and had a final coming up. Playing in the crappy third tier European competition next year (the reward for winning the Peague Cup) does nothing for me.
  11. Spurs should fire Jose before he even gets on the plane back to England and just leave him in Croatia.
  12. Yeah, the system is never going to be perfect and there will always be downsides to whichever way you go with it. I do agree with you on this one. Freak injuries happen. This could have happened on a play where the player was onside. If this was something that happened every couple weeks, then sure, you’d have an argument for it. And it’s not like Sarah was a couple yards offside. It was close. He was definitely off but it wasn’t super obvious. On the plus side, I had no idea about the extra concussion sub until today. Good on the EPL (or whoever decided to put this in) and hopefully they keep it permanently.
  13. So this basically means one Big 10 team is going to get stuck in Gonzaga’s region as the 2 seed, right, even if they’re ranked 2-5 in the committee’s rankings?
  14. Iowa favored over the Illini? If so, that's OK, for fuel for the Illini fire, with the injury to Livers, this may be the effective championship game. No slight to U of M but, Livers is their best player and, unlike the Illini without Ayo, Wolverines have a quick turn around without their best player. Guessing he meant the spread yesterday was Iowa -4.5 and I’m assuming SSR had money on it.
  15. Sorry for Weston but glad Ronaldo is out.
  16. I know the reasons why Liverpool is having a much worse season (over performance last year, injuries, three all out years taking its toll, natural let down after winning UCL and then EPL) but it’s still wild to see. If they win out, they’d still finish with 23 fewer points than last year.
  17. More dumb handball calls. Spurs defender kicks the ball and hits a Fulham players arm that’s literally right by his side. Fulham scores right after but the goal is ruled out. He didn’t move his arm towards the ball at all. Arm is in a natural position. And if his arm was straight up in the air, the ball hits his hip and nothing about the play changes. [tweet] [/tweet] Current handball rule is so dumb.
  18. boy, they're fun to watch unlike every other big 6 team. jarring watching a side actually try to score goals, something i was led to believe was outlawed They’re not even scoring at that great of a rate either. Only on pace for 79 goals. Last three years was 102, 95, 106.
  19. Judging by the score, it was another stitchface special today in the ManU-Chelsea game.
  20. [tweet] [/tweet] Well this isn’t good.
  21. Just have to throw some quarters at him.
  22. Highlights from 2016 still exist?
  23. Think it’s part offenses being smarter and taking more efficient shots and defense definitely seems down this year. Don’t know if guys just aren’t trying as hard, they’re being coached not to (I’ve heard some podcasts how teams are coaching their defense to give up more 3s), or the short turn around. I listened to a pod last week and the average FG% of losing teams this year is like 44-48% which is the highest ever by far. The Pelicans lost a game shooting like 56% this year already. There's probably a bit of small sample size in there also. Obviously this is pretty extreme and we're over 1/3 of the way through a normal season so it's not all or even mostly sample size, but there probably will be some regression to the mean. It's a pretty ridiculous stat though.
  24. I’m 100% rooting for PSG solely because of Poch. Never really liked Neymar so I always enjoyed them bombing out in spectacular fashion but I want Poch to win a major trophy (and I don’t count any of the French trophies because PSG wins those every year).
  25. I like Durant but my dislike of Kyrie and Harden easily outweigh that.
