Harden and Durant combined for 138 points in their first two games together, second most all time. What’s completely unsurprising is that Wilt holds the record at 151 points. It’s with some random dude named York Larese. What’s slightly more surprising, though not much, is that if Larese hadn’t scored at all in the two games, they’d still have the record. Wilt put up 139 in those two games, Larese had the other 12. As usual, there’s Wilt and then there’s everybody else when it comes to scoring records.
