    Yeah, sheer volume he's going to blow past the other two. Federer's not going to win another one and Nadal couldn't even win the French this year. Hilarious that we spent a decade debating Nadal or Federer as the GOAT and the correct answer was neither. And unless Rafa wins a couple more on non-clay surfaces, he's relegated to #3 for me.

    I think Alonso could stand up there for an hour and if you gave him a 45 second break every 2 minutes, he'd still be hitting 480 foot bombs. Dude just never gets tired.

Of course, Southgate set up to defend from the start with three central defenders, two wing backs and two defensive midfielders.

    Didn’t like Southgate bringing Sancho and Rashford on so late just to take PKs. Seems like you’d want to give them a few minutes to run around and get some touches on the ball before taking a PK.

    I can’t speak for Sterling but Kane’s always been a bit of a diver. Never liked that part of his game.

    he just knew he couldn't get any more height on his dives . . . Lougainis would have been proud! There was a dive midway through the second half in the penalty box that was pretty shameful. Clearly just looking for the PK and nothing else. But that’s pretty standard for him.

    Cubs win, Brewers lose and we’re only 8.5 back. Another week and a half of this and we’ll be in first!

    4 games further back of Milwaukee this year than in 2017. Q trade not technically at the deadline (July 13) and by the time the deadline came around (when they traded for Avila and Justin Wilson), they’d erased the whole deficit and were 2.5 up. Of course, that’s a point in your favor since they made up 8 games between July 15 and July 30.

    Making a team forfeit because some dumb fan shined a light in the GKers eye seems just a bit excessive. you can't let fans alter the outcome of games. Doubt they would ever do it but that horsefeathers can't be allowed to happen. Of course it shouldn’t happen. I don’t think anyone is okay with it happening. I’m just saying making the team forfeit a game for something one fan did is excessive. Hopefully they can figure out who the fan was that did it and ban him.

    I wonder what’s the all time highest WAR for the MLB leader in K’s Aaron Judge had an 8 WAR season in 2017 by either of the WAR metrics. Trout in 2014 only led the AL but he was either 7.7 WAR or 8.3 WAR. I don’t know how to search for those two combined stats but those two names jumped out immediately. Sammy was a 6.5 or 7.1 WAR player in 1998 and led the league in Ks.
