  1. Gary Cates walks, runners at first and second with 1 out. Carlos Marmol strikes out swinging for the 2nd out. Chris Walker walks. Bases loaded, 2 outs. Eric Patterson robbed of an XBH by the third baseman - ends up being a FC, 5-unassisted. Andy Pratt watch: 16 pitches, 10 balls, 6 strikes, 2 BB, 1 K. 5-3 Jaxx after 3.
  2. Moore steals 2nd. Reyes doubles, Moore scores. 4-3 DJaxx. Sprowl singles, Reyes scores. 5-3 DJaxx. Andy Pratt now coming in for Huntsville. Correction, only 1 of those runs were earned.
  3. In Nashville, Felix Pie has the day off. Iowa didn't score in the first inning.
  4. *faints* I know it's over 30 - don't know the exact number. Scott Moore with a 1-out walk!
  5. Marmol: 3 IP, 3 H, 2 (?) ER, 3/3, 73 pitches He threw approximlately 40 pitches that inning.
  6. Meh. Runners at the corners against Marmol after a leadoff double and an error on a sac bunt attempt (1B Sprowl dropped Marmol's throw). Now Marmol walks a man to load the bases with none out. Now a single allows a run to score. 3-1 Jaxx lead it, bases still loaded with none out. 6-4-3 GIDP! But a run scores, 3-2 Jaxx. Line single to LF ties the game at 3. And another walk. Runners at first and second. Activity in the Jaxx pen. Finally, a K swinging. 3-3 in the middle of the third.
  7. You're slow! I like how Ron thought Chris Walker stole home last night until earlier today when he found out it was a balk and the ump never gave the signal. One word: work  I never let that get in my way! Nic Jackson has a 20-game hitting streak between Daytona and West Tenn.
  8. You're slow! I like how Ron thought Chris Walker stole home last night until earlier today when he found out it was a balk and the ump never gave the signal.
  9. Give up any runs? No. And he had a much quicker 2nd inning: 2 IP, 0 R, 1 H, 2/1 Scott Moore *just* missed a HR to leadoff the bottom of the second. He settles for a leadoff double to RCF. Jose Reyes singles, Moore advances to third and Reyes advances to third on the throw home. Runners at second and third, none out. Jon-Mark Sprowl singles under the first baseman's glove, Moore scores, Reyes to third. 1-0 DJaxx. Gary Cates walks to load the bases. Carlos Marmol GIDP, Reyes scores. 2-0 DJaxx. Sprowl at third with 2 outs. Chris Walker singles up the middle, Sprowl scores. 3-0 DJaxx. Eric Patterson singles to RF, Walker to third. Eric Patterson steals second with Nic Jackson batting. Nic Jackson strikes out swinging to end the inning. The Jaxx lead it 3-0 after 2.
  10. Probable Starters: Iowa: RHP Jerome Williams (0-1, 3.86 ERA, 7 IP) @ LHP Zach Jackson (0-1, 3.43 ERA) West Tenn: RHP Carlos Marmol (2-1, 2.63 ERA, 27.1 IP, 30/10) vs. RHP Tim Dillard (2-1, 4.44 ERA) Daytona: RHP Justin Berg (0-3, 5.55 ERA, 24.1 IP, 25/11) vs. LHP Matt Merricks (0-1, 5.59 ERA)
  11. Get your tix to the Chiefs-Lugnuts game in Peoria!
  12. EPatt's struggling too - down to a .260 BA (don't feel like calculating the rest of his line).
  13. Cubs lose. I-Cubs lose. Chiefs lose. Bulls lose. Jaxx lose. In that order. :(
  14. By the way, Kwame Brown is under investigation by the LAPD for suspected sexual assault. He's playing in Phoenix anyways.
  15. Yep, thanks Ron. Jaxx up 3-1 in the bottom of the 8th. Moore sounds to be ok. Ron said Moore was mad when Rohlicek hit him - what was his reaction (sorry, I missed it while watching the Bulls choke)? Clay Rapada gives up a 3-run HR to blow the save. :( 4-3, Huntsville leads it.
  16. Bulls have shot terrible. It has to be under 40%. The Heat haven't played well up until their little run right here. The big problem was when the Bulls were winning 55-50, they didnt score for four minutes. That's when they needed to go on a run and they didn't, and that is a big reason why, imo, they'll lose this game. That and playing like crap to start the 4th quarter too.
  17. I'm watching a quarter of a Cavs game just for that.
  18. Hinrich held on the inbounds, no call. Then they call Chandler for the offensive foul. BS.
  19. Awful, awful 4th quarter. :(
  20. Ugh, Bulls playing like crap to start the quarter.
  21. Shaq certainly helps in that department.
  22. The refs should just wear Heat jerseys. Ridiculous.
  23. The Jaxx tie it up in the 6th on a Chris Walker single, a wild pitch and an RBI double by Eric Patterson. 1-1 in the 7th.
