  1. What about "testular" being paired with "extortion?"
  2. Remember that cory is a "5 tool player" according to all of us a couple of years ago. Too bad those tools were pretty dull Actually, the tools weren't all that dull, except for maybe the contact part of the equation. The rest of those tools were pretty damn good. Just goes to show how dumb the five tool thing is.
  3. That's a near .800 OPS out of a rookie CF. That would almost be the opposite of bust, IMO.
  4. You have no backup CFer.
  5. That is Bobby. Willie Mays Hayes http://chronicle.augusta.com/images/headlines/070404/27165_512.jpg
  6. Um, did he seriously write that?
  7. Maybe an interception near the goal line run back for a TD. Maybe.
  8. Hasn't this already been posted like 5x?
  9. Isn't this similar to Luis Gonzalez's situation a few years ago?
  10. Noticed that too... Spoke with Sean and yes the Gun was off as he was throwing Mid-90's Based on that, I would guess it was off about 7 mph. 91-93 for Sean and 87-90 for Lieber seems about right.
  11. Were they deep counts at least?
  12. Not that I'm concerned mind you (every good player has 40-50 games per year where they don't look good) but I'm kind of curious how Soto continued to look good today. It was about as bad as you can get for him at the plate today. The one AB of his that I saw was a good AB even though he just popped it up. It is starting to bother me that you don't see him go the other way much, though. Pulls the ball quite a lot. A lot of hitters have great careers doing that, though.
  13. LOL Hey guys I haven't seen Kobe Bryant but I'm pretty sure Chris Paul is better because I've seen him play a lot and he's awesome.
  14. LOL Takatsu is just filler for spring training and there is an excuse for losing. It's spring training and a bunch of crappy players are playing.
  15. RuhRoh....Did Lloyd let the cat out of the bag? Or was he just wrong? http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=At.GfdEwsoo94bhdLb_SDFRDubYF?slug=ap-bears-lloyd&prov=ap&type=lgns
  16. Wow, really? Must be the one name I hadn't crossed off this list. Just my luck. OK, I'll change.
  17. LOL at uproar It amazes me that some of you guys prefer the idea of having a bunch of signs all over the place from some sponsor instead of a name change. If one of these two issues bothered me all that much, it would be that former. It could be called Apple iField for all I care as long as they keep the park looking more or less the way it does. A bunch of signs plastered all over, on the other hand? That would be intrusive and would be a bit irritating.

  19. Then there is something seriously wrong with your sensors. When I realized that the article about Gary Hughes never having heard of DIPS was real and not a joke, my sensors were forever thrown off. The fact that it was Page 2 should've sealed it, though.
  20. It's satire. Look at the guy's other articles. Ya, I just did. Poorly written, I guess. Or I'm just dumb, because it wasn't blatant enough for my sensors.
  21. He should probably be back in 1-1.5 weeks http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20080306&content_id=2408728&vkey=spt2008news&fext=.jsp&c_id=chc According to this article, he could be back by the middle of next week, which, I suppose, is almost the same thing. They want his leg/groin (where they went in for the procedure) to heal up as much as possible before he's back in.
