    How much of the balloting actually comes from the stadiums? I would imagine a majority is done online these days. I would think so to, but 40k (or whatever %age of the crowd would actually vote) a day would probably help *shrug*

    I'm pretty sure names like Garland, Noel, Cline, and Duncan were supposed to be going in the deal, but I could be wrong.

    Remember when we almost traded for him in 98? The story went that the Cubs had their offer in, the Marlins had accepted it (or at least looked close to accepting it ) and Piazza's agent called him while he was in the shower and told him to pack for Chicago. Then the Mets topped the offer.

    Plays a premium defensive position and is a great CFer. 1st in slugging 1st in homers Has 50 RBI and it's May 20th. Top 5 in everything else other than Runs. He is the only reason Texas is not 15 games under .500 soto has a higher OPS at a tougher position lance berkman's OPS is almost a full 0.3 points higher Soto has a lower average 2 less dingers 17 less RBI 7 less runs Hamilton is better than ANYONE we have in the middle of our order. Berkman is having a historic season, hits in a better lineup with much better protection, and still has less RBIs than Hamilton. Put Hamilton in between Tejada, Lee, & Pence and his stats would be eerily similar to Berkmans. lol a bunch of counting stats and the worst rate stat

    You would think that with the Cubs being as good as they are, if they did push it as much as other teams, they'd dominate the voting. Might MLB have requested that we not push it very hard?

    Apparently misplaced his power. Yeah. Good thing we finally got ourselves that power hitting RF we've been missing the last few years. Some people are never happy... I'm perfectly happy with our RF. I just like that we're winning and everyone loves Fukudome and he's hit for less power than Murton, who apparently didn't have enough power when he was in the majors. Right now, whho would you rather have in RF Fukudome or Murton? Offensively, they're closer than you might think. Closer than the salary difference warrants. But Fuku.
