    Sweet! Any word on his stuff? We've been hearing that it's better than it has been since 03. I really hope that's the case.

    I'm the biggest TWalk fan in the world, and I have no problem with sitting him vs. lefties. His flukish 2005 aside (don't even look at 04, not nearly enough ABs vs. LHP to conclude anything), Walker has been pretty bad against lefties throughout his career. Is it possible that at 32, Walk suddenly figured out how to hit lefties? I suppose, but I doubt it and would sooner attribute his 2005 line vs. lhp to luck. Straight platoon is fine with me.

    Actually dugout seats are usually the seats held by season ticket holders or brokers. Try to call up the box office at most stadia and get a seat a few rows behind the dugout. It's usually not there. The fact is, no matter where you sit, there are going to be people drinking. I still don't see how having cheerleaders makes it any less of a family environment. They aren't even that scantily clad, no more than a lot of women in the stands. Are high school football games not family friendly either? You are wrong about dugout seats, especially in Wrigley. You can walk up to Wrigley the same day as the game and get seats behind either dugout. Justify bad behavior with worse. Awesome parenting. When your kid gets older you'll get to enjoy the conseqences of that attitude. :wink: Enjoy. This is so not true, it's not even funny. Maybe if you're buying a single ticket. I would know, I NEVER buy tickets in advance, and go to 15-20 games a year.

    I second this entire post. Exactly what I was thinking. Does anyone take kids to the ballpark? Is it a family experience? Go to the strip club w/o your kids. You can't be serious.

    The Cubs did not lose to the Marlins because of Dusty's managing. The Bartman play, Gonzalez's error, and the lack of a pen were much bigger factors. Dusty is not a good in game manager which is part of the reason they haven't been back, but I won't put 2003 on him. The management in Game 7 was an abomination. Game 2 was also poorly managed. Oh.. and the end of Game 1...

    The high for last season was 3 SB on Sat 21 May in a 5-3 loss to the white sox. Can't tell you when they last had 4. Fred, just curious, what's with the Red Lion avatar? I have a night class at DePaul that meets there every couple weeks.

    Ram. I think for the rest of their careers, Aramis will have the advantage with the bat, and that means a lot more to me than some good (great) glovework.

    How can anyone ask this question seriously? Cabrera is the next big superstar of this league. Actually, with the numbers he has put up in his first 2.5 years, he already is one at the young age of 22.

    I like it... I can't stand watching games at Shea.. Such a dump. I like how they already have the Subway (Diet Pepsi, Bud, and SBC too) ads up in the sketches.
