    Yeah, you never see pitchers hurt a muscle in their shoulder. Ever. It's nigh impossible for a pitcher to strain a shoulder muscle. I mean, how could that even happen? Name me other pitchers that have been on the DL 4 or 5 times for strains and the like in 4 years. Prior's not on that list. Beat me to it.

    Actually, from all the recent reports I've heard, they will not be extending Dusty until after the season, if at all (please don't)... Hendry is going to get his extension soon, though. Not sure how I feel about that.

    yeah....name me the team that can replace 2 all-star pitchers with their great pitching depth... Miller was never someone we were counting on or that needed to be replaced. He's a potential replacement, if anything. We certainly could've done better than Glendon Rusch... (Hell, we probably have better in the minors right now)...

    6 runs is pretty good for the offense. Not worried about the Offense I'm worried about the sloppy defense play. Last year's problem was the offense (as well as all the injuries to the pithing staff). And it probably will be this year's as well.

    :roll: Yes, he's being "thrown to the wolves" because a couple of people rightfully called out a bad play he made.

    I'd guess far more than half the pitchers in the Majors are worse than a 4.00 ERA. That's just a testament to how poor and diluted the overall talent pool is, especially in terms of pitching. Doesn't make a 4 ERA any better.

    I'd classify 4.00 as mediocre anyway.

    When someone is pitching as well as Arroyo, it doesnt hurt to take a pitch or two, make him work, and get his pitch count up. Exactly. Make the pitcher work. Even if you're taking a first pitch strike and end up having to battle and foul off pitches. If not, you end up letting the pitcher breeze through the game, like we did all year last year and are doing today.

    I'm pretty sure it's a season high. Haha. I think it can be beat. In the playoffs maybe? Just wait till the first time Dusty bats Pagan and Neifi 1/2 on one of his forfeit lineups.
