    Cubs are gonna cruise to 105 wins, +\- 2, Rizzo gets the MVP he shoulda won already, Darvish gets Cy, Baez and Contreras both win gold glove and silver slugger.

    I know that its been a lousy offseason and everybody here is disappointed, but This is the only thing from this offseason that reallllly bothers me. Ive been looking forward to the Cubs network and a money windfall from it since what, 2010/2011? Now that its here they go and give it to a conservative propaganda outlet and the money windfall doesnt exist. Thanks for the world series, Ricketts. Now eat horsefeathers and horsefeathers off.

    Ive spent like 10 minutes trying to find an image to post....i mean its not hard I just screwed up and got frustrated.... Annnnnyways, I really dig the new Marlins logo/uniforms. Maybe thats just because the old ones were so hideous, but either way, very welcomed change from me

    Any interest in Paxton from the Ms? The injury history is a worry. I wanna say that he’s a potentially dominant pen arm, but the cost to acquire him may be too high to then stick him in the pen.

    I know theres no such thing as a lead-off hitter but i feel like the offense is missing a Fowler-type. I’d like to find one of those this offseason. If nothing else, it’ll stop Joe from putting one of middle of the order hitters at lead-off. Who is available?

    Still holding out hope the Rockies can get past the Dodgers or Cardinals. So go Rox! Yeah, the Rockies are our only chance to prevent the Cards from making the playoffs. I hope them and the Dodgers win out. I’d so much rather face the Cards in the playoffs than the Dodgers.

    Two months later, but from what I'm posting below there was no saving Z as a Cub. I have absolutely no memory of this happening at all, I must have been really checked out. Me either, and I wasnt really checked out. I would have said that Z’s last year with the Cubs was like ‘09.

    I always liked him for some reason, even when he was with the cards. Good curveball. He’s butt now but eh maybe we’ll get lucky and he’ll manage to pitch a couple times without sucking too much. Also i just saw those lefty splits, so yeah now im totally on board.
