    Hahaha Its funny, because just the other night I was reading the ESPN thing grading the offseasons of each team in the NL Central. When they listed the Astros I actually thought "Oh yeah, I forgot about them." I used to dislike the Astros almost as much as the Cardinals.

    I remember rolling my eyes when Hendry chose Quade over Trammel when Lou retired. I was so wrong. Mike Quade is a bald little bundle of awesome.

    Koyie Hill has to have some dirt on Hendry or something. That or he is the best clubhouse presence ever and they're willing to pay him close to a million a year to suck ass at everything baseball related just because he's a chill dude.

    Funny how all the old cubs.com forum trolls said that the Yankees would steal Prior and Wood from us, and now the Yankees have had both Prior and Wood.

    Did our manager just make a tough decision and then back it with solid reasoning and have all three players happy with it? What the hell is this? Where is the fishing reference or....whatever it was Lou always did? Why didn't it drag on until the week before opening day?

    Mark Prior is 30. Carlos Zambrano is only 30. Augie Ojeda is 36. Albert Pujols is only 52.

    How does Johnny Damon get 5 million and Manny only gets 2?

    Kerry Wood could certainly step back into the role, but doing so would probably move Cashner back into the bullpen, wouldn't it? I'd be much more happy if we hung on to Marmol at least for this season. We're planning on contending, and the bullpen should be one of our main strengths. We should keep it that way, at least until we're out of contention.

    What? I think he means that since the Cubs were stupid last year, they constantly put Hill in when they were facing a good running team. I'm not sure if it is statistically true, though. I'm sure you could probably just take a look at how many stolen base attempts were made off of him.
