I don't like that idea. I hate basketball and one of the main reasons for that is that so many teams make the playoffs. Over half the teams....I mean really, come on. The playoffs are fine the way they are. Only things I'd change is making the Division series 7 games and changing the home/away format to 2-2-1-1-1 instead of the current 2-3-2. Oh and obviously I'd change the home field advantage rule.

Not really, I shouldn't really have to. Half a year in the bullpen doesn't ruin a career as a starting pitcher.

Seriously...that guy's arm was going to change everything until it stopped working well. You can't even find Prior clips on the internet anymore...well there's one, but you don't want to watch it...it kinda sucks. 4:26 makes me want to cut.

We do have Angel Guzman coming back next year. We're one really good reliever away from a good bullpen if he comes back strong. We're gonna have to overpay in free agency for one, so we may as well make it Kerry Wood just for old time's sake. He'd probably accept 3.5/year for 2 years. Maybe a mutual/vesting option for a 3rd. Not only sloppy but slow. Maybe it's a product of age, or maybe it's because Brandon Phillips didn't call him a bitch, but his swing seems longer and slower this year than I remember. Haha, this post is awesome.
