Kind of disagree with this simply because of how much the North sucks. It won't happen anyways unless Texas Tech runs the table then loses the Big XII Title. Plus Florida would need to lose again, then beat Alabama in the SEC Champ Game. Even if that happened, you'd have 3 1-loss teams without a conference title(Bama, TT, Texas), a conference champ with 2 losses(Florida), and a couple conference champs with 1 loss(Penn State, USC). The odds of the two Big 12 teams out of those 7 being 1-2(especially with Tech losing their most recent game) is essentially zero. You'd need an absolute mayhem situation, with USC, Penn State, Bama, and Florida all losing before the SEC title game, then Florida winning the SEC title along with Tech getting their first loss in the B12 title game. Then Tech and Texas are the only power conference schools with only 1 loss, and even then I wonder if the polls would have Mizzou in front of Tech by that point given the madness that would allow Mizzou to move up in the preceding 2 weeks.
