Well he pitched Right handed exclusively in highschool, until he broke his arm. Then he decided the unleash the 100 mph left handed fury. I thought that happened much earlier than high school.
Dear Moises, Thanks for tanking the first 2 years of your contract. If you wanted a job with an organization as bad as the Cubs, next time consider not being an albatross for 2/3 of your employment. All the best, TT
It helps your OPS when pitchers are still too damn scared to throw you a strike because that's what they've been conditioned to think for five years, ignoring the fact that he is hitting .250 and can't run to save his life. He's got a .550+ SLG to go with that too, it's not like he can't hit it out of the infield and people are still scared of him.
Our offense is below average, but it isn't as bad as it is right now either. Trust me, we are just in a bad slump. I've seen worse. I remember a POST-Nomar Cubs series in 2004 when we scored just 2 runs (all in one inning) in a three game series against the Brewers. This feast or famine is not new to the Cubs. Apparently when you take away the home runs and add a bunch of speed to the Cubs old feast or famine offense...you just get the famine part. Speed doesn't slump....
In 9 games. Can you let me use my small sample size to help bitch about Neifi being on this team without correction please? Well, you don't need to use Nomar to prove we don't need Neifi. Just use [insert player here]. EDIT: And I was referring more to injury than sample size in the previous post.
