We've given up less than 7 runs 2 times in the last 6 games. We've scored more than 2 runs 1 time in the last 6 games. And yet we stand at 14-11. As I said it could be far worse! We're 4-6 since Lee got hurt. We're not a good team without him. Sure we could be the Royals, but I don't see the problem with pointing out that we are pretty bad right now.

Damn, I didn't even realize he was still out there. This is a horrible, horrible decision. The guy is coming off arm problems, and you are gonna throw him out there for a 6th inning when he's already above 90 pitches!?! It's not like he's even pitching that great. yeah, but don't expect dusty to think about that. Which is why he has no buisness being the manager of my team if I were Jim Hendry. Well what choice do he have? The bullpen is spend as it is and our next day off is in two weeks. There are 7 people in the bullpen, and we had a starter go nearly 8 innings last night. It's far from "spent".

It's the bottom of the lineup. He was also over 90 pitches and hasn't been brilliant with those. He's also Angel Guzman, who's main concern has been not getting hurt.

The decision to send Guzman out for this inning is not a good one IMO.

Hill '03 ST: .154/.274/.173/.447 Cedeno '05 ST: .218/.271/.327/.598 Cedeno's obviously better, but both were pretty abominable, and since both came in about 50-55 ABs, there's not much difference in the performance aside from an XBH or two.
