especially with those first couple games where the stats were complete ass Both playing behind shoddy pass blocking with a terrible group of receivers. Although, with the addition of Claypool and activation of Harry, the Bears receiver room has suddenly improved. The big differentiator is Justin can move whereas, Rodgers is not quite as mobile anymore. Plus the terrible conditions of game 1. And the purposefully kneecapped game plan against the packers. etc.

It's too early for me to say which position will be priority in the draft between WR, DL & OL. It depends an awful lot on how things shake out in free agency. -
If Michigan beats Illinois, OSU and (probably) Illinois again...they're going to be ranked very high.

Johnson was the defender on one of the td throws last night. But he wasn't really beaten on the play. It was just a perfectly thrown ball that Johnson missed by inches and hit the receiver right in the hands. he also had initial coverage on the other TD. But he passed on coverage as if it were a zone and everyone else looked to be playing man.

I posted that video yesterday and I think the best response was that it looks like bad Madden AI that play alone seems to run contrary to Mustiphers high pass block grade, but it also looks very typical of his play in general I sometimes wonder if PFF has an easier time when they can tell what a guy's assignment is, as opposed to when he's just running around randomly in space.

Gordon basically refused to score a TD on that one. He certainly could have outrun everyone down the sidelines if he wanted to. I thought that was odd, but he was tired and the game was over at that point. Didn't Tywuan Thornton run him down? He was the fastest receiver at the combine with a 4.28 or something crazy yeah, but Gordon definitely let off the gas. I wonder if he was thinking too much about maintaining possession to burn clock. Or if he just got tired.

Those first three weeks also included playing in a deluge, in Green Bay, and in high winds (iirc). Again, no excuses, you have to perform in any weather for football. But there is definitely context there. And GB is obviously not a great team this year, so it seems the staff and players both had a bad game with both the planning and the execution.

At $70M, you've basically used that up with two TOR pitchers even without the SS.

On the one of those where they showed the view from behind the QB, there was absolutely nobody open Someone pointed out he only has 3 throwaways this year. I’m not saying it was/wasn’t possible in this scenario but he’s gotta throw those away if he can. Those negative plays both took them out of FG range. Yes he managed to get them back into good shape but you want to avoid negative plays there. horsefeathers it im being negative after Fields had a great half nevermind. Great stuff JF1! Yeah - he was 9/13 for 133 with a td passing, then ran for 74 yards with a td, too.
