  1. he won't get credit for the INT, but Sanborn is making some splash plays today.
  2. He wasn't even out of bounds though. Morrow shoved him out, Gordon punched the ball before he was out. yeah, it was pretty weak on the replay. It looked bad live, though.
  3. I think Kmet might actually be okay
  4. That play should be there every damn time from the five. There's almost no way for the defense to play that
  5. lol - we always say that if Fields had time, he'd be able to air it out. There you go on the throw to Mooney
  6. Well, it was nice being in the top 25 for a while.
  7. There's one!
  8. Dude - he *gave* that hit
  9. Wow - that scramble and completion by Fields
  10. They keep blitzing Brisker, who runs straight into a lineman each time and does nothing.
  11. No pass rush whatsoever
  12. Goff had all day to throw Wish Fields got that long
  13. What a crappy holding call
  14. For a fun Saturday night, I created a spreadsheet! I started with the Fangraphs top 50 free agent list and put that into Excel, with columns for the rank, name, position, age, projected contract years & AAV. Then I added a quick ability to select players to add and see total spend. Then...I turned it into a google sheet so that you all can have as much fun with your weekend as I did! Here you go!

    NFL Week 10

If they blow it, this is on you.
  16. 40 man moves today: 40 man down to 36 people after the moves.
  17. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2022/11/rays-place-nick-anderson-on-outright-waivers.html Anderson seems like a nice injury-rehab target.
  18. Me too. I'd guess a no shortstop offseason likely involves going hard on the rotation. Senga/Smyly seems to be a level of settling you do to facilitate 30-35M allocated to shortstop, but if you're punting there I think Rodon or Verlander is likely leading the pitching staff. To me though, my read on Jed's drawing the line on five/six years is that Swanson becomes the guy. I mentioned this a few weeks ago but he helps make a lot of other pieces fit together better. Right now it's a tough puzzle to get a SS, two SPs, extend Nico, and address both of 1B/CF. But save ~$10M at short and suddenly you can more realistically address the full to do list. I'd much rather it mean that Xander is the guy.
  19. I hate extending Happ.
  20. He's got to be just about #1 in yards per rush given some arbitrary cutoff in attempts, too, right?
  21. https://www.bleachernation.com/cubs/2022/11/08/the-ricketts-family-reportedly-have-interest-in-buying-a-different-soccer-franchise/ Wasn't sure where to put this. You would think that a group that recently suffered "biblical losses" from owning a sports team wouldn't be so excited about pursuing another team. Unless, of course, they didn't really "suffer" all that much.
  22. I think my shot at an upset died with TCU hanging on for a 1 point victory over Arkansas Pine-Bluff.
  23. I wouldn't mind losing a bunch of shootouts where the "future" guys all show out; then having the pick one before the packers and trading down to deny them the QB of their choice. Then they reach, overdraft a guy and get stuck in QB hell for ages.
  24. Someone will lose
  25. Georgia's week one destruction of Oregon is also looking better by the week. The ducks have averaged 48+ points per game whenever they weren't playing Georgia.
