    What an absolutely depressing start to the BJ era. Caleb just ain't it, some comically inaccurate passes; I think I'd rather have Justin Fields back (rooting for him). Bad OL, vanilla playcalling. Could have been a Trestman or Eberflus team if I hadn't know who was on the sidelines. Ryan Poles is TERRIBLE at his job, particularly at evaluating offensive linemen. Time to detach any hope or potential excitement from this unit.

    I'm still pissed that Craig sat both Shaw and Cassie yesterday. I feel like the division is out of reach at 7 games; if it was 5 I'd say we still would have a shot. Malpractice not to throw everything you had in the final matchup with the Brewers. Craig even said that loss stung. No horsefeathers horsefeathers!

    Co-nervous. It just seems like the buzz is still bad around him. Although I will say there were things I saw last year I liked, and he put up solid stats for a dysfunctional team. I think maybe he is a Baker Mayfield type, who has moxie but needs to be schemed into success. We'll see.

    I love this pick. He and Matas can be an absolutely wrecking crew of defensive dobermans. Too bad AKME always double down on their mistakes (Pat Will, Vuc). This team won't be great but they'll be fun to watch. Hopefully they add some shooting and maybe a star falls into their lap.

    I missed that when it happened but damn is that depressing. Do we think the (maybe not so) little injuries adding up is what killed his love for the game? I guess it's also kind of weird that Rizzo is apparently retired now. I'll forever be grateful for 2016.

    It's a 3 tv night (NBA, NHL, Cubs). I only own 1.

    I mean who can blame them? The Bears are one of the most dysfunctional organizations in pro sports. I'd have done the same thing. To the Bears credit they've hired what appears to be a good coaching staff, as well as investing in the OL and weapons. It's a nice spot now, but I still don't think Poles is good at his job. In Ben and Caleb I trust.

    It's too bad I'm already bearish (har har) on the 3rd round OL from Yale they took last year. Would be good to have another prospect at one of the more important positions. I like the Ozzy pick but Poles has given me good reason to question his O-line evaluations.

    He's amazing. Say he doesn't sign an extension, when would he become a free agent? (I definitely don't want that, just curious how long he would be under team control)

    LOL, I had a meeting start when it was 7-1 and didn't check the score until the end of the game. WOW. Carson Kelly for MVP! PCA for POTUS!

    If the Ricketts cry poor regarding Tucker I doubt I'll watch 10 games next season. The Cubs have way too many built in advantages to horsefeathers around and be cheap.

    Cubs have scored the most runs out of anyone in MLB. Have played more games than most but leaving many teams well in the dust with 84. Kyle Tucker makes such a huge addition to the lineup. Fun team so far but I'm warning Ricketts that if he doesn't give Tucker an extension I'm going to January 6 Wrigley Field *and* Marquee Studios.

    You're not wrong, but is the lesson also build a great defensive line so you don't have to blitz on every third down? Eagles got pressure with their front 4 all day. Also, isn't the KC Guard a free agent that some have bandied about going to the Bears? I was pretty drunk and don't remember any individual plays, but guessing he had a bad day yesterday.

    This trade sucks. The contracts they got back aren't even expiring, Collins and Huerter will be on the books for next year. And of course no draft capital. AKME sucks so badly.
