  1. I know he’s young and coming off an injury but I’m sounding the alarm on Pwill. He seems to have such a passive demeanor. He says all the right things but it just feels like something is missing. I hope im wrong.
  2. Maybe Tampa will be sluggish after 10 days off? :dontknow: Yeah not feeling good about this one.
  3. They seemed to perform pretty well under him so kinda whatever.
  4. Yadi looks like he's already started his retirement diet. He's going to be 400 pounds by next spring. The Cubs should honor him next year by having a neck tattoo night.
  5. I think a lot of the reason it worked out like this is because so many people were pissed about this decision and were able to bully Nagy, ownership, management, whoever that this stupid crap needs to stop. In conclusion, you're only a true fan if you're a maniac both online and IRL.
  6. Matt Nagy sucks ass. He's on the Marc Trestman/Jim Boylen-level of just pure horsefeathers coaches. Stubborn morons.
  7. It’s hard to get too worked up about the cardinals playing well when we are unrecognizable. I live in LA and it’d be funny to see the dodgers lose in the wild card game. I enjoy the Mickey Mouse ring discourse lol But still F the Cardinals, I don’t want them winning horsefeathers either.
  8. The creased up flag that looks like it's right from the gift shop is so Ricketts.
  9. Gotta be weird for him going in the visiting dugout, etc. The should just show the final out of Game 7 on a loop for the entire series on the big screen.
  10. The Bears will win 4 games this year and be under mutiny conditions for much of it if Andy Dalton is the starter until Week 15. He's bad.
  11. Care to refresh my memory? Was it before or after we found out he was a human paraquat?
  12. Pay with credit card, venmo or of course a sack of nickels...
  13. Looking forward to a billion sideline shots of Justin Fields as the Bears come off the field after another 3 and out.
  14. Eh Cleve has 2 good defensive forwards/centers and those guys are the ones you want to pair Lauri with. I don't think he's great but seems like an ok fit. Probably too much money too but when you're Cleveland you have to take what you can get in free agency. AK with just a brilliant offseason, though. Easily the most excited I've been about the Bulls since DRose vaporized Goran Dragic in PHX.
  15. The ricketts snubbing Sammy angers me more than just about anything they’ve ever done. Who the horsefeathers are they to pass judgement on anyone? :middle finger
  16. I have been pretty on board with blowing it up but it’s really hitting me how bereft we are of actual mlb players. Even bad Cubs teams of the past never felt like they had *this many* holes to fill.
  17. It really is amazing. It sounds like Lance is impressing in camp but reviews on Wilson have been mixed, to say the least. I will never not be shocked he fell to the Bears. I keep looking for reasons to be cautious with Fields but he really does seem like the total package. Thank you Aaron Rodgers for being a distraction that day.
  18. Is this something that could really happen? I was hoping (more like wishing) they could move him at the deadline. Even if they had to eat 90% of the contract I would have been happy with it.
  19. I was kinda hoping he would be taking beatings for the rest of the season to assist in the tank job. Oh well. 2015 Jake was about as dominating as a starting pitcher could be.
  20. I'm pretty sure it's because I made a deal with the devil during the rain delay. No regerts (although tbf I was extremely drunk at the time).
  21. Imagine if we had lost. I'm 99% sure the world would be a much, much better place. It's a very convincing argument that the Cubs opened the portal to hell but all the bad things were already afoot when Rizzo caught that ball. And hey, only 5 years later the Cubs have maybe the worst roster in all of MLB so maybe things can get better? :shrug
  22. Imagine if we had lost.
  23. Man if I had cancer I would have been scared shitless of COVID. Hope he just suffers some embarrassment but damn what a dumbass.
  24. So that 5/130 take eh :barf: Good for KB that he’s killing it, though.
