They're 5-7 for good reasons, and it's not just injuries. their last four losses were by four points or less Meaning what, exactly? The Bears have several close losses too. A loss is a loss, especially games like today where they played at home in conditions that should have favored them. They lost today mostly because they couldn't cover a kickoff....all day long. That's absolutely inexcusable in a critical home game like that one.

Agreed, I don't see any of these teams being able to win on the road in the playoffs. They get a home game for winning the division. So 2 and out. I find it well within the realm of possibility that the winner of the North will lose to the Wild Card team at home.

They're not. The Bears, GB, and Minn are all around 7-9 win teams, I think the Bears are the worst of the bunch with GB the best, but they're all around each other. The Bears do the worst job of utilizing their talent which hurts the most. GB's the best offense, but their special teams are horrible and their defense isn't great either. They're weak/average in 2 of 3 phases of the game. I'm not sure they are the best of the 3. I think they are exactly where they should be right now.

It's not just the blocking on returns. D. Manning is doing pretty good with that same blocking on KR's. The blocking might not be as good, but Hester is also just not as good this year on KR/PR.
