I do think there's an element of coaches thinking twice before coming to Chicago, because of Lovie's situation (not becuase they dislike Lovie -- there's an important distinction there). That doesn't mean it's the only factor, and it doesn't mean that's the exact single reason why a coach wouldn't come here. And let's be honest. Who cares about Hue Jackson? He's probably the last guy I would want running an offense led by Jay Cutler. Glad to see he went to the Raiders. I'd rather hire some college hot shot than him. I don't think this is the end of the world, and I'm fine with just taking our time at this point. Lots of people make hay about offseason antics. When the season starts, things often change dramatically, and all the hand-wringing that occurred in months like January, or June, or even August, seems silly in retrospect. So I'm willing to just let the Bears do what they have to do. It's not like we have a choice, but still. I'll give them some latitude.
