Why hopefully? Hopefully Martz fixes this inept offense, which just happens to include a disappointing TE, and stays for a while. and if olsen is less valuable at receiver than someone who actually plays receiver in martz's offense, why play him out of position if you can get something for him? martz has said that he won't play a tight end at receiver when he can put a receiver at that position. olsen will play tight end and he will learn to block or he will not play for the bears anymore. there's always some risk when you deal a player with potential like Olsen, but in my mind he hasn't done anything to make me feel like he's untouchable. It would depend on the return value.

yeah we put much more energy into our sports of choice. Still, I think we've done well in the Olympics of late. It's hard for me to even imagine a time when we would seriously challenge in the World Cup.

We came into this being told by many that we would be lucky to even get bronze. And we took silver, plus played very good hockey with an amazing team. It would have been incredible to pull the upset, but USA hockey comes away looking pretty good. And Blackhawk players were big throughout.

Roenick is hilarious. Kane has been so huge today! Two assists, the big tip off Crosby on the breakaway. The biggest game, and the kid flat out shows up. I can't even believe how awesome these Canada/USA games have been!

The only people pulling that crap are the curmudgeon STHers that are now pissed off that they don't have entire rows to themselves. I sometimes wonder if they care more about that than feeling special. For what, I don't know. I won't begrudge any Hawks fan who gave up on them during what I call The Dark Ages. How could you? Half the games weren't on TV, if you live outside of Chicago, you'd never see them on national TV. The owner did everything he could to drive us away. I'm a die-hard fan, but I'm no fool. It's nice to have ownership that is finally welcoming fans back. It's puzzling to find that there are fans who seemingly say: "no! you can't come back because you didn't suffer with us!" So let's go back to the Wirtz days then, I suppose? Kind of ridiculous.

not really Yes, it is. Unless it is a coach that coached you, or your kid, it's incredibly weird. not at all. following a coach because of their philosophy isn't weird at all. I'd say the likes of Phil Jackson, Belichek, and the like are good reasons to be fans of the teams they coach that doesn't mean Tim isn't weird. I watched as all the Packer fans in Iron Mountain, MI became Lions fans because Mariucci became their coach. Trust me, it was flat out, 100% weird. And they actually had some reason to do it. They're all Packer fans again. It's incredibly weird, and unsettling.

That outfit is truly awful. If ESPN wants to know how to dress their women, they should watch a little Fox News. One thing that network does right is lure in viewers with sex. Let's face it, a Kornheiser suspension was going to happen eventually. He makes his living off the tirade. Only a matter of time before one of his rants offends the wrong person. He probably doesn't even care, it will just mean more listeners when he comes back.

Yeah, I really like that too. Even the early season matchups in football, against really small teams -- they get the HD cameras out there and shoot it. The game might be on one of the alternate channels, but it is there, and it's HD. They had many doubters when they first started, so there was much to overcome. They've done a pretty good job. I can't say I watch a ton of it, but I do like having it in my channel lineup.

I guess it would depend on price but generally once a RB falls off that cliff, he doesn't climb back up to where he was.

Nope. Not yet. The other big one is no WGN HD. So we don't get the Cubs/Bulls games on WGN in HD. There are a few chinks in the armor of directv's HD coverage right now.

I just heard that trading on the NYSE levelled off during Tiger's announcement, and then picked up after. LOL. I suppose it makes sense--just kind of funny.

I wound up getting all 3 cincy games in early august. Combined with my 9 game brewer pack, I'll be seeing cub baseball live at least 6 times this year. For me, that's acceptable. I'd really like to work in a road trip to a random destination this year, such as KC or maybe Cincy. Expand the number of ballparks I can say I've been to. -

I have no intention to rip on the South, but this is a pretty funny statement due to the fact that the South has the worst 5-6 states in terms of lowest average IQ. http://www.sq.4mg.com/IQ-States.htm 3 states below Alabama. It looks like a you could draw a line in order to determine sides in the civil war. This is really off topic, but: Washington DC: 99. Lowest in the land. Congrats, we're being run by idiots America.
