    And other than 2 “games” where the league did us dirty, we’ve done well so far.

    Also worth noting- it’s a shutout without those two bizarre errors.

    Really liked watching Shota fight through it against a good team and when he didn’t have his best stuff.

    He was one of the great Cub players from my childhood and then he had to ruin it by talking.

    For some reason I kind of enjoy the late games. Until it gets to the end and I'm needing to get to sleep or stay up until the end and be a little tired the next day. But I'm typically busy with other stuff earlier in the evening.

    Hopefully back sooner rather than later.

    SD is either just that good or we are catching them at the wrong time. We might just have to take it on the chin and move on. Hoping for a big win tonight of course.

    Great series, especially this game. I know yesterday was the bombfest but tonight they traded runs back and forth, then tacked on an insurance run at the perfect time, and a great 1-2 punch out of the bullpen to win it.

    Hopefully. We still won this series. I’m more concerned about the Steele news but we will just have to wait and see.

    9-5 including 2 BS “games” that count as losses.

    It’s a beautiful thing to see. The offense is like a freight train. Love love love.

    Its impressive how bad Corbin has been, for so long, and still starting.

    Hard to imagine a worse start to the 2nd half than Florida.

    I might claw my eyes out if I have to see these nose dive probability charts all season.

    Craig just wanted to see him fight through it I guess.

    Yeah last year the bullpen rounded into form but too late. The season was tanked already we just didn’t know it. We make the playoffs if the BP doesn’t blow up multiple games earlier. Doom boner for sure but this feels exactly the same. Cobbling together a serviceable BP can’t be easy but come on. It needs to happen for a guy who wants to call himself a GM in MLB.
