  1. I feel like the big thing we can agree on is that nobody knows what will happen by the end of the season. We don’t even know what the playoff rosters will be for each team yet.
  2. Yeah I saw these recent posts and immediately thought umm….Cardinals anyone??
  3. Brewers are good at everything, bad at nothing, and great at nothing. My sense is that adds up to a lot of fun regular season baseball and a lot of early playoff exits. Perhaps the best approach is to be the #1 WC team and don’t worry about them winning the division. WC teams can and do sometimes have better post seasons.
  4. Just to prepare everyone the Brewers have Woodruff going so the Mariners will struggle to even score.
  5. Looks like the Brewers will not lose another game…ever.
  6. Tigers are on a serious losing binge right now. Given what the Crew are doing out West I’d say the two best teams in baseball are in the NL Central, at least right now.
  7. At least the clock struck midnight on the Cards.
  8. Schwarbs is still Schwarbs.
  9. RIP. He should have the pearly gates opened up just for the naked honesty of that rant.
  10. Can someone point me to the real Home Run Derby? The one with the actual top HR hitters.
  11. It’s been a great first half of the season. Plus we’re catching Boston at the perfect time to start the 2nd half.
  12. Here’s hoping. If there was ever a case for a GM to “load up” at the deadline this is it.
  13. Yeah and then we go into a playoff series with run down players.
  14. I’m not expecting them to go cold, even if they don’t play 116 win baseball. its the Brewers. Vaughn will be good then he’ll leave and suck again after.
  15. Easy to forget the big picture. As much as the Cubs have been feeling pressure, the Yanks have even more. Toronto has overtaken them by simply not losing. They have to be pressing a little- especially when they get down early. Score a few early runs tomorrow and we might see a lot of poor ABs. Get ‘er done
  16. Loveland had a very significant injury that everyone knew was going to keep him from hitting the ground running. Bears selected him anyway, over a more highly-regarded prospect. I’ve seen this movie and its crappy sequels before. Definitely on brand. I really hope Loveland turns out to be great but I’ve got major Bears PTSD over him.
  17. Sorry everyone. It was me who said the Twins had collapsed. You’d think I’d learn…
  18. Swanson was so late on those fastballs it’s like he decided to swing after the ball was past him.
  19. Really? They’ve essentially collapsed. 9-20 since June 4. We should never expect a cakewalk though. And now that I’ve said this the Cubs will probably struggle.
  20. Brewers appear to be catching the Dodgers at the right time. Plus I think they are simply a good team and it’ll be a dogfight to the end. Sweep the Twins plz. Thanks.
