  1. A bit. Taking Kolb here is a clear message that they are losing confidence in McNabb's ability to stay healthy.
  2. Wow, seems to me there's still a ton of talent out there for the Bears.
  3. They can't handle that their 'qb carousel' graphic is on ice. They'll do anything to keep the Bears from having a steady QB, so they can show the graphic every game.
  4. http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/draft07/insider/news/story?id=2850167 Well most pass-catching TEs who struggle blocking are in for pass catching. So what? We'll still have at least one great blocking TE on the roster in Clark. The negatives on Olsen are simply another way of saying he doesn't do everything. No different than saying Santana Moss isn't all that powerful a blocker---big deal, that won't ever be his role.
  5. Hehe, if you're referring to the Bears I don't think we'll be taking him @ 37. Unless I really have no clue (always possible), I think Angelo switches back to defense here. I'm thinking he'll take Blalock there. How about Ugoh, if we wanted to stay on the O-side? I still think we're going to need help @ LB & DT, though it obviously doesn't have to happen right now.
  6. LOL, want to get in the good graces of Urlacher before the rookie minicamp.
  7. Hehe, if you're referring to the Bears I don't think we'll be taking him @ 37. Unless I really have no clue (always possible), I think Angelo switches back to defense here.
  8. no, i headhunt idiots. The fact that he made a stupid comment and the fact that he's a bears fan are coincidental. Understood, however why headhunt for anything?
  9. Now we enter the REAL draft. We're all getting ready to stop paying attention -- Angelo's just getting warmed up 8-)
  10. I hate Rex Grossman I am a tool I hate Rex Grossman I live in the Castro District of San Fran I hate Rex Grossman I am a tool I hate Rex Grossman ooh good one, a gay joke... and you're calling someone else a tool  You can never let anything a Bear fan says just lie, can you? It's overreacting. Young ripped Grossman, but come on. And really, who cares what Steve Young thinks? This from someone who has heard nothing but butt-kissing from analysts about your QB for 15 years. Come on now, at least try to understand our perspective.
  11. Hodge just trashed Olsen on ESPNews for shying away from blocks, btw. In the interest of two-sided debate, thought I should offer that up.
  12. I'm paraphrasing, but he said something to the effect of "if they don't do something about Grossman I'm really going to rip them." It's was incredibly [expletive]. Who does he think he is? You'd think we were 2-14 last year, for Christ's sake!
  13. How about Miami with Ginn? ohh yeah...forgot about that gem. I really like Justin Harrell, not sure how badly they need a DT but that's a really talented kid. I think Ginn was a reach pick and not a need pick either. Poor move there. I don't understand when people say this. What do you mean? Do the Dolphins really need a WR? I didn't think they did. Been disagreeing with you all day......let me take the other side. I'm with you on this, Ginn might turn out to be good but Quinn could also be special and they already have Chambers. Right now they're looking at throwing an aging QB with concussion problems out there (Green) or a QB who has a bum knee and hasn't played decently in years (Culpepper). They should have taken Quinn.
  14. Basically, they never talked about the pick. Instead they just railed on Grossman some more and threatened to harrass the Bears all year if we don't get rid of him. Absolutely unbelievable.
  15. I mean I'm not jumping through hoops and popping champagne or anything, but I'm glad to see the Bears take a top pass catching TE for really the first time in my lifetime.
  16. Oooooh,if the Bears don't do what I want, I'm REALLY gonna rip 'em!! Christ, is Steve Young the biggest moron ever, or what?
  17. Steve Young openly threatens the Bears. Thanx Stevo! What a [expletive].
  18. Enjoy that, Bears fans He's got his hooks into our roster to the screws. The Bears are one of the ever-shrinking pool of teams that actually don't mind dealing with him.
  19. Yeah, many teams don't view their TE's as an additional lineman, and they do just fine. It's time for the Bears to join the 21st century at this position. I'm good with this pick.
  20. This is probably the sexiest of all picks the Bears could make here. Let's see how it works out. I will say it's not a typical Angelo move, so he's out of his "comfort zone" with this one.
  21. Just doesn't seem like a Bear TE - doesn't block too well. Great athlete, nice hands, good receiver as a TE and would be a good target for Grossman. Notions of what the Bears do on offense are going to change.
  22. Eh? Strange pick for SD, IMO.
  23. Ack! This is setting up to be very disappointing for Bear fans. Angelo says he won't take TEs in the first round, and the whole world is going to be saying Olsen is the clear pick.
  24. Well he did do something.....he lost millions of dollars. Not only that, he still gets stuck with a crappy team. LOL, yeah that's true. He'll have his work cut out for him that's for sure. Players on truly bad teams not only have to play well, they almost have to develop themselves.
  25. My God someone tell Kornheiser and Jaws to lay off the ass-kissing a little. Quinn was "put to the test" today and really handled it well! Quinn "won the day" today. He sat around for a few hours while a ton of other guys were picked. He did nothing.
