  1. Maybe. Sometimes I wonder if teams don't deal picks this late just because they don't see the value of drafting anyone at all (i.e. some of the players that will be available as undrafted F.A. will probably be of similar calibre)
  2. Yep, it's worth noting they were classy in defeat.
  3. Don't we have to wait until all the 1st round series are over? I don't know how it works.
  4. How horrid. This is terrible. Prayers go out to his family.
  5. Well, now the shoe is on the other foot and we'll need to steal one on the road to start the DET series.
  6. Whom apparently only McCarthy didn't realize would suck.
  7. Total freaking sweepage!!! =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>
  8. That sucks all kinds of ways.
  9. I know I'm late, but Josh Beekman, YES. Exactly what I was hoping for to start the 2nd day. :D
  10. Moss to NE is official now.
  11. Lupica just said "not only has the window of opportunity closed for the Heat, but they've also sold the house." :D
  12. I figured the best the Cowboys might get from the drop would be Cleveland's first next year and a third rounder this year. Had that happened, they wouldn't have been able to trade back into the first round. I thought we might even take Clevelands's 2nd and 3rd and maybe a second next year. When we recieved both the second rounder and next year's first, I was ecstatic. I wasn't as pleased with who the Cowboys moved back up to take, but I'm going to trust that Phillips and the Cowboys scouts know what they are doing. I hope the Cowboys have a great season, but I can imagine how pumped I may be heading into next year's draft. Here's to the Browns winning one game next season. Boys could be a playoff team with 2 first rounders including a top 10. I would be giddy 8-)
  13. Bears: OL help plz. Just a guy or two we can try to develop.
  14. Cowboys definitely benefitted very well from the Quinn drop, no question. Worked out beautifully for them.
  15. There's just no question Wolfe is a massive reach. The point is he would have been there on the 2nd day -- heck he might have been there to sign as a free agent after the draft was over. Sounds like the Bears might have become a little over-enamored with him based on a personal workout, which, as I said with Russell, is many times a bad way to go. I hope he works out. Question: what happens when a nasty 250lb linebacker lays into him? Bazuin -- this guy looks like he was actually pretty good in college. NFL draft countdown called him a probable starter and had him as a day one pick, so I'll defer to Jerry on that one. Okwo -- I don't know this guy at all, but I also remember more than a few people saying "Briggs? WTF?" so I guess we'll just have to see what he looks like in camp and beyond. Olsen -- great pick, excellent value @ 31.
  16. He would have been there tomorrow, I think. But, he has got to be the ultimate change of pace back, heh. So anyone who thought we had 2 of the same type of back, well now there's a changeup in the arsenal. I do worry what might happen to the guy when he gets plastered by some nasty, hulking LB though.
  17. I don't find that suprising at all. Pittman would be a worse version of Benson, and APete has some bulk too. Why draft duplicate players?
  18. Bears pick Michael Okwo, LB
  19. Bears pick Garret Wolf, WHOA
  20. The Bears didn't pick @ 93 in the alloted 5minutes.
  21. Here we go. Bears double-shot action.
  22. http://media.scout.com/Media/Image/25/250126m.jpg Zup That's how we all looked in the '80s 8-)
  23. This makes the packers draft a little better. Rouse is very good value here. The Jones picked looked solid to me. 6'5 monster target who runs a 4.5 -- I've never heard of him but that doesn't sound all that bad.
  24. I think we've reached the point where Bush is a good value pick. If he does come back from injury he could be a very solid RB.
  25. Lets hope Angelo can make up for that last pick. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on Bazuin. He has great measurables for a DE.
