I'm incredibly intrigued by the idea of Chip Kelly in the NFL. I'd be curious to see how much he changes his offensive style or, if he doesn't change it much, if his high-speed spread option style can work in the NFL. I also wouldn't completely discount the idea of Saban to Cleveland. Saban has shown he has no problems moving around and if Cleveland offers enough money (the $10 mil/year number is impressive) and gives him a like-minded GM (Lombardi?), I could see him considering the jump. As to why he'd leave a cushy situation like Alabama: the challenge. Like any really good coach, he's a proud man who probably feels he can succeed in the right situation in the NFL. Having another Belichick-type guy as his GM might give him that assurance. I'm not saying it's happen by any means, just that it's not quite as silly an idea as it seems on its face.
