    Do you mean could have if the Cubs could have been smart enough to trade Sosa earlier and get a player LIKE A. Jones? Or was this deal specifically rumored/on the table/discussed? Those with better memories can help me, but a few years ago the Braves were shopping Jones, and Sosa's value was still quite high at that point. There were many who advocated Sosa for Jones. I can't remember if that was after 2001 or after 2002...
