  1. In all fairness, as Tim and others have pointed out, Theriot had a two year attempt at switch hitting that failed miserably and depressed his numbers significantly.
  2. No matter what you might think of him, Vizzy is one of the best defensive short stops of all time, imo.
  3. WHUFF strikes again! (White hustling utility fan favorite).
  4. Boy, do I wish that Ramirez will opt out of his contract! :P
  5. That was a complete muckup, but Lee did a good job of taking advantage of that.
  6. Geez, that ump has really been squeezing Hill this inning.
  7. Sorry about that folks, had some issues last night with the wireless that I finally got taken care of a few moments ago.
  8. :?: Yeah man, totally uncalled for, ending your sentence with a preposition like that. It was grammatically correct in any case. :P Also, look up mono. Swollen lymph nodes is the disease's calling card.
  9. Didn't Kaplan go on a hilarious post-game rant earlier in the year? "We go now to traffic..." "SCREW TRAFFIC! There are cars on the roads! There's traffic! Let's talk about the Cubs and how much they suck!"
  10. Let this be a lesson to you kids: Be careful of whom you make out with!
  11. He sounds like a more athletic version of Dopirak. Yes, we should be.
  12. He might be damaged goods, but not a bad risk. Then again, if Hendry tries to go all Wade Miller with him, that would be dumb.
  13. You may have a good point about Fontenot. His minor league numbers look pretty solid, I wouldn't mind having him up now over Theriot and Bynum. baseclogger Injured.

  15. Gee, do you think playing in three of the friendliest leagues for hitters (Cali, Texas, and PCL) had anything to do with Bynum's higher SLG?
  16. Aw nuts, I'm going to be busy with studying and school stuff for the rest of the day. :( Nate (or anyone in attendance/listening to the game), if you could please post a report on Carrillo in terms of his stuff, build, and so on, I'd be quite thankful! :D
  17. He's managed to overcome the hamstring and groin problems, but his incredibly violent delivery and small stature make me wonder how much longer his body will be able to hold up. I do have to wonder if there are any clauses in there involving tractors, though.
  18. The article was surprisingly well-written...until it hit a wall. I can understand the Restovich sentiments, but the Mabry and Walker comments are head-scratching, to put it mildly...especially considering he just wrote an entire article based on win shares and VORP.
