    I think its more than that. I think there is a rule that you have to wait a certain amount of time before trading draft picks. One full year after signing the pick.

    San Francisco has absolutely NO ONE that could net Manny in a trade. Their farm system is terrible and Matt Cain is pretty much their only young player they have who has a promising future.

    Tony Gwynn's Stats His credentials are impressive, but I wonder how he would fare putting up those kinds of numbers today. He'll definitely make the HOF based on his gold gloves, all star games, postseason numbers, and BA...but still, I have to wonder.

    Carlos Zambrano's performance during the course of the season will cause the entire world to stop what its doing and watch the Cubs whenever he pitches. His fastball will be so masterful that it will bring tears to the eyes of the most hardened villains. His slider will cause bountiful crops of food to spring forth from the most desolate areas of the Sahara. His fist pumps will cause the most polluted waterways to suddenly revert to a sheen of blue so pure that people will be unable to tell where the water ends and the sky begins. ...that and he'll win his first Cy Young by leading the NL in wins, Ks, and ERA. :D

    This is the first time I've ever taken a look at McFadden. He's a future #1 overall pick, isn't he?
