  1. Really happy that Barnhart gets the start over Amaya. Maybe knowing he will get zero run support will make Kyle really buckle down, play with a lot of outward emotion, and pitch well tonight.
  2. Is it just me or does Carico kind of look a little like Andy Samberg when he smiles super wide...
  3. Presumably the son of BJ Murray, Sr. Also, was a 15th round pick in 2021. Originally from the Bahamas and went to FAU for college. Can hit. Hell of a scouting report, if I do say so myself, lol.
  4. Super fun that Steele had to throw 5 strikes to strikeout Naylor.
  5. Notice Brody McCullough there right behind Horton on that chart.
  6. NASTY slider by Horton to end the top half of the 4th.
  7. I kind of see Morel as more of Jose Hernandez guy.
  8. Tuned in just in time to see Alcantara go the other way for a double.
  9. Anyone else running into the "Oops we dropped the ball" page for the South Bend game from MLB.TV?
  10. I assume you mean the guys who start the game both pitching and batting.
  11. If I was a Cubs pitcher and it was my day, I would shudder seeing Barnhart and Hosmer in the lineup. Maybe cup check the manager.
  12. Please jettison Barnhart into the sun. He is supposed to be a defensive catcher and he tries to backhand that ball? Can’t hit his way out of a wet paper bag to boot.
  13. I love seeing Madrigal and Hosmer in the lineup.
  14. There is no way that Morel homer was only 429 feet. It was murdered and it went into the second deck in CF. The LCF fence is 411 ft.
  15. Yeah. I think he has figured out he has the power to really hit the crap out of the ball to the RCF gap. If he continues to do that, he will be a key to the rebuild that wasn't really counted on.
  16. That barehanded play he gripped it like a changeup and it came out of his hand like that too. I can’t say I’ve watched him play much, but I wouldn’t judge his arm on that play too harshly.
  17. Three strikeouts that inning. 2 were very questionable.
  18. And somehow Gallardo is chopped liver today?
  19. Nice to see that from Morel. He seems to be very willing to go with the pitch and not roll over on it.
  20. Yepez never should have been on base. Steele has gotten hosed by this home plate ump a lot tonight.
  21. Wait, the horsefeathering filter didn’t catch that?
