Quarterbacks don't regress to the degree Cutler has this year without injury or age being a factor and neither are the case for Jay. So its a combination of OC, OL, WR. And i would say the bulk of the problem is OC followed by the OL and then a small problem being the youth of the WR. And why has Olsen regressed so much this year too? Olsen is as a good as Dallas Clark. Fn Turner.

If they don't fire Ron Turner after this debacle of a season I may just turn in my bears zubaz and find a new team. turner doesn't need to be fired because his contract is up, it just won't be renewed and i think it's pretty much a slam-dunk that it won't be. weis would be an excellent choice. I missed the part about RT final contract year. This news is akin to a prescription of Ambien. Whew. And what happened to Gibson this year? Damnit i had high hopes for him this year. Nothing....we saw nothing. Can we please see something this year now with 3 games left.

I agree with everything Jersey said on page 1 with regards to Cowher, the defense in the nfl, and the importance of a passing offense. The one thing to remember about Cowher and his SB teams is Dick Labeau, i truly believe he is the reason they were so good on defense and not Cowher. DL is the wizard behind the curtain for the Steelers, Tomlin gets all the credit too but its Dick who makes that team go. One thing i do like about Cowher is he isnt afraid to fire his coaches if they are sucking. Finding the next Sean Payton, easier said than done, is the way to go (im very jealous of the saints). Find an offense first HC. Weis is a good band-aid and if he works out i could see him staying awhile because i dont think he will get an HC job again, kinda like Lebeau. Kubiak, will he get fired, will he get another HC job? Id like him as a OC very much too. Personel wise (i havent looked at the FA list yet) id like for them to go big time OL more than a WR. IF they dont get rid of RTurner i dont think anything matters though. Ogun is gone after this and is nice cap relief, if they go defense id like for it to be a RDE.

Harbaugh to the NFL? Too many transitional failures of very good college coaches switching to the nfl(nfl teams are wary of this). I see him leaving Stanford but not for the NFL. Anyway id rather be a Bob Stoops, Urban Meyer, Petey C. CNS(ya'll like that dont ya), et al and have my job secure for 10 years and get paid like and NFL coach. Screw going to NFL if you can rock n roll in college.

There are far more people that watch the game on tv than at the game. Building something to block the people in Wrigley from seeing the ad is pretty silly. The big value to that board is the visibility when watching the game on the tele. I dont know how they are going to block that mass audience from seeing the board.

Id be happy if i was nd and they got kelly. Guy has built a powerhouse D2 program, turned around/improved 2 seperate programs in short order in Central Michigan and taking over Dantonio's(who is no slouch) Bearcats producing 10 win teams there. And all that without loads of talent. Kelly came up through the defensive side of the ball at Grand Valley so its not like he is totally deficient in that department. Solid coach.

Pryor's comment on Mike Vick is pretty conclusive evidence that he is dumb. Football dumb, thats hard to say. He's still a sophomore so he still has time to develop but being as talented as he is he's not living up to his abilities compared to other sophomore qbs in the past.

Pryor more closely resembles Vince Young in many ways. Vince never looked fast either but he always ran away from guys, Pryor doesnt look fast but the dude blows people away on the edge and in open field. He's more closer to VY than Troy Smith. Troy Smith kindo of sucked until his last 2 years and the last year he was throwing the ball all over the place with 3 wides. Pryor cant run the same offense as they ran for Troy. Pryor's completion % sucks and a mass amount of his yards are because of bombs.

The regret should be on Pryors part. OSU offense and coaching staff is not catering to Pyrors strengths, i.e. more zone reads, bubble screens, etc. He'd be a much better qb under a better run spread offense program.

I'd only be strongly in favor of getting rid of him if he insists on bringing back the same offensive coaches. Like Dick Jauron. Yeah Lovie can go to hell if he wants to pull that. Replacing Turner is the cheapest and most effective coaching option available to the Bears. -
I agree the one sack wasnt Pace's fault, the pocket collapsed from the inside and Cutler had no where to go. 2 of the sacks were Forte's fault. One he totally blew the assignment up the middle and went into screen mode too quickly and the other was when he was used as a blocking sled from the LB coming right up the middle. And yes, please go to more of a spread offense inside the 5. The interior of this line can not block people and move them around one on one, we've seen it enough.

Is anybody really good this year? Florida doesnt appear to be as good as last year. Texas no, PSU no, USC no, OU no, OSU no, Alabama same. Oooooh Iowa, ooooh TCU, ooooh Boise, ooooh Cincy.

I dont miss Tait's pass blocking skills from last year. Williams run blocking skills, im not going to trash those yet without watching him more closely in that department. RT. If it isnt the oline then it must be Forte, if it isnt Forte is must be you. I don't know what else to point the finger at and by looking at the YPC of this team some fingers need to be pointed. He doesnt have to call out players by name but saying the oline is playing good is garbage.

Both lines are sucking this year. I just dont get how the olines performance can go down from last year to this years. Pace>JSC and Williams>Tait(at least pass rush wise). That leaves Frank O. who blows, why is beeckman not in is beyond me. Kruetz cant get a shotgun pass above cutlers crotch. Im tired of Brown, Ogun had a great game against the pack but thats all he has done, Anderson is blah, i want to see Gaines. Vasher at FS was an interesting idea but that didnt look to last more than a qtr. Ron Turner can go to hell.

who is the fastest guy in the draft? Noel Devine could be a top 5 pick after all. CJ Spiller? Guys fast as eff and runs like Chris Johnson. Clausen has made some nice strinds but if he came out i dont see him cracking the top 10. He still needs work.
