"just needs to be average" is hardly an easily achieved goal for this group. Above average is probably a bridge too far. The Bears are going to have to make do with a crap line, because a crap line is what they have. The line is crap although I will say from what I've seen from Webb is better than last year. Spencer is looking bad but cwill is an easy fix. Lance is looking serviceable and so is carmini. Garza is ok. Average is doable and obtainable, only way they reach above is Webb really improves and carmini blows up to being a top notch RT. To me those 2 are the wild cards. I'll be estatic with average.

Good god, the starting infield payroll the cubs in 2013 could be $2M, and I'm not knocking the talent. Rizzo-ink him in for 2013 Barney-ink him unless they pull of a trade. Castro-ink him in unless traded. Vitters-pencil him in unless he fails miserablly. I don't see that. Impressed with his AAA development and numbers this year. So he doesnt walk like youkalis, it's not like he is a huge hacker either. I don't see the urgency of this regime to trade him. He's 22 and had a pretty darn good year in His first year at AAA.

Webb sucks. I'm skeptical that he has improved that much. I can safely say that he is the worst starter on the bears offense and defense. AND his portion is the most important on the offense line. Only reason he was ok the last part of the year in pass blocking is because they put a TE over there to help him. Why the hell do you need to help someone that is supposed to be your cornerstone to combat a pash rush....well because he sucks. LT need to be able to play on an island. I'm not throwing Chris Williams out of that position battle yet, way to early to tell. This line has been shuffled a lot in the past based just on poor play alone, it's only a matter of time for Webb. I'm curious to see how he comes out and looks like in the first preseason game this year.

thought the bulls would go the combo guard like mentioned but Teague is a nice pick. He is more BPA than the other guys and this low a pick i go BPA. I feel pretty good about Teague sticking on this team and making contributions which is generally pretty much all you can ask for from this pick. He is a nice potential replacement for CJ watson come 2013.

MLB draftees are so much the biggest dorks. Then you got bud who doesn't think today is all that special to get some nice threads on that fit him. King dork. Cubs have CF of their future!. Where have I had that before and no this is not a dig on the curre t draftee.

Sweet the offense that finished 16th in the NFL in points that year. OK they did finish 2nd in total yards so it was probably just Jay Cutler turning it over in the red zone a lot. They had terrible field position that year. Their defense was horrible, I don't have the actual analytics off hand but they were backed up a lot. def had lot of yards and low TO ratio.

James Brown stands out at practice... Scouts from three organizations told the Tribune that marijuana was an issue for Brown and that led their teams to remove his name from their draft boards. When asked if he wanted to address the matter, Brown said, "Could be something to that." If this is what dropped him....hurray! There are so many worse things to drop a college player than tokin'.

Haha. This is kinda awesome on a diabolical front that the SOB's didnt draft a lineman at all. I mean c'mon who the Eff would have said that?! Theses guys are eithe brilliant self evaluators that can project self improvement that the consensus cant see or brainless maniacs. Their is no middle ground. Emery could of drafted 7 olineman and it would be considered a 'good draft'. Dudes got balls to pull this off. And I'm not saying having balls is great thing is this instance.

I can't believe how much diarrhea can come from someones mouth about one of the best teams in the league. Analyzing so much and believing in their position so much that naysayers are out of touch or whatever the **** you want to call it. I love this team, the components, the chemistry AND the Derek rose factor that they can win it all and am bought in. I'm having fun and that's why I watch this ish. I wanna hang out with the dudes that enjoy the process in this thread than the ladies who bitch and become bitches to the moment.

Mario us an UFA he cost nothing. Wallace is the first rounder. Watch the skins pay as much for vjax as Mario gets. Mario is a freak, even though it's not an immediate need I'm am so in because guys like him don't hit FA often. You'd entertain trading Deng and Noah for James Harden? I think hes better value than either, obviously. And you cant trade both for him anyway, salaries would have to align. The post is more of a reflection of how much i value the potential of Harden to be an all nba type than an actual "lets trade deng and noah for harden". But yea, Id probably rather have Harden then both of those guys. Wtf seriously. This is [expletive] absurd. The weakness of this team was the sg against Miami which well is all the eff that matters and now you want to do a 1-2. Jesus Christ how is harden better pieces for rose than deng and Noah? Harden isn't roses robin. What the hell is wrong with some patience from Hamilton. Well Im not throwing Hamilton out and I love his game against the heat which to me is all that matters for this year and the next coup 2-3.
