  1. Thanks a lot. the other service i was trying sucked.
  2. Orlando Pace is the badest bad ass of left tackles. In his prime he was so awesome it wasnt funny. I dont expect the in prime Pace but i think we can see a bad ass Pace. Good to hear good words about him this camp. David Haugh wrote about 5 players who have made solid impressions 'besides Andersons dominance'. Is he talking THE Mark Anderson, i havent read anything about that this year, this comment surprised me. And all the talk of Cutler and Olsen has me thinking Jason Witten performance from Olsen this year. :-$
  3. Ive seen Knox's pre draft workout video and his hands looked really good. The guys on the video were raving about his fundamentals in catching the ball. Catching wont be his fatal flaw, learning the system, running routes is what he needs to work on. I too think Hesters hands are underrated, they arent awesome but they are good enough. I love Hesters double moves, off the charts quick and fast. Ogun said Williams will be the most athletic RT he will face all year. I guess thats not really a suprise as that was his strength going into the draft but good to hear anyway.
  4. Steve Stone was going on and on about how the Blue Jays wouldnt just let the Sox have him ala Randy Myers this AM. I wish i had his quotes but it was something like you never see that happen, impossible blah blah blah im steve stone and i know what im talking about. Jays just got the savings they were looking for in the Holladay deal. I think JP got lucky and it was a good move to not pull him back.
  5. I thought i read where Tommie is going through workouts similar to what he was doing during the season last year. So yeah he is going to be under a different workload this TC. This seems like a good idea to me. Its not like Tommie needs all the regular work anyway.
  6. I do kind of like Bradley hitting in front of Soriano with his high OBP. It splits up the RH lineup a little bit more than if he batted 2nd. Although Lee and Aram are hitting the crap out of the ball and more guys on base the better. Soto behind Soriano could be a really good thing too.
  7. TC buzz is starting to wear off for me a bit. Im ready for some game action. I want to see all this talk about the dline in action against another team, as well as all the other stuff that is getting the attention this camp. Rivers and Culter, splitting hairs if i do say. Rivers is 2 years older and is wasnt until last year you could say he was prolific, the previous 2 he was good to very good. Manning, well his offense took a crap the last 5 games last year without Plax, im very curious to see how he performs without him, Plax was a lot of that passing offense. I dont really worry about how much Cutler will get paid in 3+ years anyway. It doesnt seem to slow down the best teams if football who pay their qb top dollar. The Bears will have plenty of room.
  8. This is why i freaking love Olsen. One player gives the Bears multiple packages without the defense knowing which one it is until the Bears break the huddle and depending on what the Bears see they can adjust. I saw a couple times on video what looked like TE screens they were running with Olsen, thats cool.
  9. I referenced this a few days ago. I don't know where these stats are coming from though. Id like to see how he comes up with these numbers. You'd think with these 2 interior lineman along with Kruetz that the Bears would be sweet with short yardage interior runs. All i remember last year is RT calling smashmouth short yardage runs plays and the running back or FB looking at a wall of asses with no where to go. Forte was good if they strung the play out and allowed him to find the hole but relying on the line to make a hole by one on one blocks was futile.
  10. it wasnt obvious nor was he just taken out. not exactly anserin your question but that the info.
  11. I hate the marlins too. and its not about 2003.
  12. yeah lou is nuts, now he is playing his IF like LOOGY's or something.
  13. Brenly WAS great before the break and then after.
  14. well this is a great excuse to open another beer.
  15. Milton gets jacked up about a walk, scoring a run is like an orgasm.
  16. bradley running into second with the wings up. awesome.
  17. Yeah eff hermidia. Carlos kept that one to himself and it wasnt staged.
  18. I was with carlos on the fist pump on that one. BOOM
  19. Thanks. Yeah from that... "Turner says might use Forte & K Jones in backfield together." Both guys are good at catching passes out of the backfield and they have motioned Forte outside as a WR last year too. Flexibility.
  20. If you put any stock in Rivals' 40 time measurement before he entered college, they have him at a 4.69 40. If he can get that down into the high 4.5, low 4.6 range, put up good bench/squat numbers and show at least decent hands, I could see him as a possibility on the first day. He'd have to be very impressive on his combine day and a team would have to be willing to be creative with him, but a late first isn't out of the question, I don't think. Especially if the Wildcat package continues to succeed in the NFL this year. Never put stock in HS 40 times, they're even worse than the college 40 times that schools list. Worse than Florida's? That workout board is joke. I think they had like 3 guys timed faster than Chris Johnson and Harvin at or sub 4.3 while he ran a 4.41 at the combine.
  21. ZZ blog. Put this above Garza's locker. Im already getting a little iritated reading stuff about the oline and nothing about a competition at RG. Lovie mentioned he was excited about the Beekman/Omayle competition at LG, how bout RG damnit. I know its early so im not trying to get to worked up about this.
  22. Sonofa just when i thought he was gone for good the door remains a touch open. I should of known better. The guys is unbelievably indecisive. Vikings please just give Brett the middle finger, do it for you own good.
  23. Matt Jones ran a sub 4.4 40. Tebow wont come close to that number. He's a big strong qb who is a smashmouth runner. I dont think he is all that nfl athletic non qb wise. Even for a TE i question his speed and if he isnt a fast TE him as a blocking TE isnt all that grand of an idea either. FB? thats the most worthless position in football. Im not as fast as throwing him out as qb just yet, he wont be a high draft pick but as a backup/project he is worth a selection. There are some really crappy qbs in the league now so its not like there is a lot of class he has to beat out.
