  1. Closing in on another touchdownless half
  2. Deon Bush is in the same boat as well. This is a damn mess. But hey, the games must go on! I’m guessing if the Titans didn’t already have their bye weeks erased due to their own covid mess this game might been cancelled
  3. Wow. He flew over on the team plane too
  4. its pretty stunning how a few missed draft picks can absolutely tank a team. I liked Trubisky when they drafted him primarily because as raw pointed out, he was a consensus top QB by the "gurus" (trading up was foolish, but a different issue). Its caused me to wonder how experts rate these guys, and why they can be so wildly off. Was there anyone saying Mahomes was the guy back then? if so, is that the pre-draft source to follow? I'm really, really frustrated by the Trubisky pick. I was bewildered by it at the time, then talked myself down to a wait and see approach. So much rides on the right pick for QB. It's not binary good team/bad team, but it's a big measuring stick. Every time I see Mahomes I see Pace failing to see that. It's what he was paid to do. He's paid to see that I didn't know enough about either of the guys to have a strong opinion on which one should be first, so I was fine with Mitch because many were calling him the top guy. I remember Mahomes was the high risk high reward guy, and Watson was the college spread QB that someone people thought would be great and some were not very high on him.
  5. So every single offensive lineman on the active roster was a 7th round pick or UDFA? lol
  6. Traded Gurley and 1st next year for Dalvin Cook and a 2nd next year. Feeling pretty good about that but I'll definitely be starting rough next season. My team now: QB1 - Kyler Murray QB2 - Lamar Jackson (ugh) RB1 - Dalvin Cook RB2 - Ezekiel Elliott (double ugh) RB3 - James Robinson WR1 - Davante Adams WR2 - AJ Brown WR3 - Tyler Boyd WR4 - Jamison Crowder TE - Ugh the bane of my existence, right now Goedert, but trying to see if I can get Gronk for cheap. K - Justin Tucker DEF - Streaming BN: Ronald Jones, Mike Williams, 2 flexible spots Pray for no COVID
  7. Dallas Goedert is looking like he will score a 0 today since he hasn’t even gotten a target yet. If that holds, I will have gotten a COMBINED 26.4 points out of my TE position through 8 weeks: Engram - 1.9 Engram - 9.5 Engram - 3.7 Gesicki - 2.0 Schultz - 1.1 Tonyan - 4.0 Tonyan - 4.2 Goedert - 0.0 The funny thing is that despite this I’m in first place and have scored the most points in my league. How the horsefeathers do I fix this though?
  8. You know what would have made 2016 better? If all the games were played in Marlins Park
  9. Sorry I can’t get over the TO thing. I think the reason is pisses me off is it exemplifies what I hate about Nagy. He is conservative during situations where you want him to be aggressive and aggressive in situations you want him to be conservative
  10. I’ll have trouble remembering that game in 2020 versus that game in a bunch of other seasons. But yeah, this one hurts like hell. Just handed it to them on a silver platter. It reminds me of when Trestman opted to kick a 49 yard FG on second down in OT. It was missed, the Bears lost the game and then missed the playoffs by 1 game
  11. Good idea to use a TO for a strategy that’s proven to have no effect. If the Saints somehow missed that TO could be used for things that actually help teams win games lol
  12. When the Bears miss out on the playoffs by 1 game, remember this one where we handed the momentum to the other team for no good reason and ultimately lost the game
  13. 3 drops in 5 plays of OT? Lol
  14. I was going to be shocked that the Saints went for it in that position. Thankfully the bears didn’t bite. Protect the ball, make smart passes and get it into FG range
  15. Winning this game would have a dramatic effect on the Bears postseason odds that’s for sure
  16. I feel like the last 20 times or so when a game goes to OT and I want a team to win the toss they lose it. Not just bears games, but when I’m watching casually and prefer one team over the other lol
  17. Damn, so glad we signed that guy
  18. No way he makes this into the wind Edit: I guess it’s possible based on the iced kick lol
  19. Run up the gut for some reason. And then a 5 yard pass on 3rd and 8 This team is just so confusing
  20. 1:33 left Miller, you could have turned it upfield for another 10 yards
  21. Foles throws on 2nd and 3rd....I just don’t understand them
  22. What in the horsefeathers was that?
  23. Lol if they manage to win at the nick of time again lol. Man we could use those 4 points back from the end of the 1st half
  24. Since they spent a TO on making one of the most obvious attempts to draw a team offsides (from their own 20) they can probably afford no more than 2 first downs from the Saints
