  1. That drive lasted 6:30 and is putting the Bears in a position that they defense will have to get off the field quickly. I won’t complain too much because they got the job done and they have some margin for error on this next defensive drive (plus the defense got rest) but I would have liked to have seen at least a little more urgency
  2. Sucks that the Bears had a miraculous 5-1 start fearing multiple improbable comebacks when there are 2 really solid franchise caliber QBs available in the draft. Now we’re probably not even going to be bad enough to get our coach and GM fired. And possibly good enough that Nagy thinks he needs to trade draft stock again to improve next years team
  3. And yet again we see an exhausted Bears defense start to cede late chunks of yards
  4. 4th down he stares at one side of the field the entire time and throws a wildly inaccurate pass of his back foot. When did we put Mitch back in?
  5. I feel like if an impartial observer was watching this game closely they would think the Bears are terribly coached and undisciplined
  6. Is it just me or did Montgomery have a chance to get the 1st on 2nd down and he just kind of walked out of bounds
  7. There he goes again. Bears need to get momentum back and instead start the drive at the 10. (Yes I realize a long kickoff return would have gotten momentum back)
  8. Agreed. And the 5-1 start is going to make it difficult for the Bears FO to justify firing him. I mean there are a number of ways you can justify it but the passive behavior of Bears management in general makes it unlikely unless the Bears finish like 5-11 or 6-10
  9. So I guess Foles is just due for at least 1 inexplicable interception a game?
  10. And now the Saints are about to take the lead
  11. Yeah, that's a bad call. You wait till 3rd down to call and get the ball back. 2nd down it made no sense Sent from my moto e5 supra using Tapatalk Actually pretty sure it was 3rd down. They got 12 on 3rd and Kamara converted from 4th and 1. Still dont like it...you have all the momentum and are getting the ball to start the 3rd. If the Bears defense stops them on 3rd down, best case scenario is they get the ball at around the Bears 20 with 45 seconds left. How likely is it the Bears terrible offense drives down and score points with 0 timeouts left? It was an unbelievably poor decision that gave a ton of momentum to the Saints going into the locker room.
  12. I'm honestly livid right now, This makes absolutely no sense at all to call that timeout. That is up there with Fox challenging a 1st and goal from the 1 and losing the ball, Trestman kicking a FG on 2nd down in OT to lose a game that would have allowed the Bears to make the playoffs if won, and Lovie calling a TO with 1 second left in a tied playoff game giving the Seahawks a free hail mary opportunity to win the game
  13. And look at that, the Saints get the 1st down and are a few yards away from FG range. Idiocy by Nagy And look at that. Should have been 13-3 Bears at halftime but that TO allows the Saints to drive for a TD. That is inexcusible and no one is talking about it
  14. And look at that, the Saints get the 1st down and are a few yards away from FG range. Idiocy by Nagy
  15. Not a big fan of the Bears TO there. 10 point lead, at home, and getting the ball to start the 2nd half. Why give the Saints any window to score points before halftime?
  16. Have a feeling we are going to see a bunch of dump offs to Kamara and Saints points before the half.
  17. Wow a big passing play AND big running play? In the same game? In the same half? Localized entirely within Soldier Field?
  18. What percentage of Patterson touches are for 1 yard or less? 80%?
  19. If Ginn was still “returning” punts, the Bears would be starting this drive inside the 25 most likely
  20. 134 yards allowed on the Saints first 2 drives and somehow they only managed 3 points from it. Great to see some goalpost luck for us for once
  21. lol Anyone can build powerhouse programs who win multiple National Championships. But if you really want to cement your legacy you need to build a Michigan team who can beat Ohio State. Exactly, it’s the white whale of coaching
  22. OSU players likely came back to win a championship in a short season. But your point stands.
  23. I think Harbaugh is as good as you are going to get unless UM could land Urban somehow (imagine the troll value there). The dream would be someone like Saban or Debo thinking that UMs recent ineptitude against OSU is a challenge worth trying to overcome and making a legacy move. But highly unlikely they would ever willingly go to coach at a school with high admission standards and a considerably worse talent pool to recruit from
