I love it. They did some ok things but they were pretty sloppy early on. But in general I like the high standard he is setting.

also im not one of those "the manager should go out and scream at the umpire" people in general but Craig should have at least had some words with the ump after Seiya's BS checked swing situation. I have never seen an appeal to 1st with the 1st base ump saying no swing with the home plate ump overriding him. That's at least worth a heated conversation imo.

wtf I was half watching it on my phone with the Cubs game on my TV and turned it off when I saw the Chiefs get a 1st down in Bears territory with under 2 minutes left and the Bears had 0 TOs. How in the heck did they manage to win?

I went from "Of course the Cubs offense is going to turn it around and start hitting again" to "umm is this the real Cubs offense?" Least runs per game in baseball over the past 2 months and its not showing a ton of signs of getting better.

Dansby’s out is the 4th batted ball today that Savant says would have gone out at Wrigley but did not here. 3 of them have been hit by the Cubs. The Cubs hit 3 HRs in their just completed 8 game homestand
