  1. Rookie coach and a bunch of random transfers walk into Louisville and win. DePaul might be pretty good. 8-1, only loss is a close one to Loyola. The Big East is a gauntlet and we’ve seen good starting DePaul teams get crushed by it but the new coach looks legit. Leitao was terrible X’s and O’s Coach who couldn’t make adjustments. Stubbs blows him away in that department
  2. Yes believe it or not
  3. I don't think you hope they are, but they most certainly are rushing him back just to be able to field a team. Haha, bad typo, hope they aren't*
  4. Would love to have him back, but initially on Monday they said they wouldn't evaluate him for at least a week. Hope they are rushing him back to where he reinjures himself.
  5. This is getting ridiculous
  6. Yes Matt Thomas isn't a loss but this continues to trickle through the Bulls. Thomas played fairly big minutes for him on Monday...only a matter of time until it takes down another key member.
  7. The McCaskey's probably count a primetime win over the Packers as 3 wins in their evaluation of the HC and FO, so should probably lose this just to be safe :D
  8. You can probably scrutinize this stat but its fun anyways
  9. Oh man do we have to stop swearing again to attract good podcast guests? Like the podcast idea but this board is so irreverent that I'm not sure how new users would take this place. Worth trying though. I'd love to hear discussions about previous Cubs moments/seasons that people have forgotten about. Desipio is doing something like this, having an episode on every Cubs season in the Tribune era, and for example in the 2007 episode, they spent 5 minutes talking about Ronny Cedeno getting thrown out at 2nd after a walk. Something I completely forgot about but was hilarious at the time. There are so many small moments like this that are lost in time due to a 162 game season. Random walkoffs, random baseball oddities, etc. But what they do is pick a year at random and discuss it with no research. This could be more planned. Just an idea that may or may not jive with your vision for the podcast.
  10. Zach with the 2nd 4 game winning streak of his career. :D
  11. Not if they are all getting 2 week breaks due to COVID throughout the season
  12. When it rains... So no DeRozan, Caruso, Green and White for at least a couple games (actually have no idea when White will be back)
  13. That's rough. Could be the difference between making the playoffs outright and having to make it through the play-in tournament. Next few games: vs. Denver @ Cleveland @ Miami vs.Detroit @ Toronto Obviously at Miami and Denver are tough. Cleveland is kinda sorta good despite losing Sexton for the year. The good news is that those 5 games cover about 13 days (until the 6th game against LAL on Sunday) as we have 2 days off between games 3 different times in that stretch. So its not as bad as Vuc going down when we were playing 4-5 games a week.
  14. I mean, I don't think he's a HOfer but at least a somewhat honest case could be made for him unlike some people who are actually in the HOF. Here's a random observation: Bobby Abreu has absolutely zero HOF buzz yet he has more WAR than Vlad. Abreu was a WAR machine just before the era where people started legitimizing that statistic. He was always looked at as good but not given the attention that someone who averaged 6 bWAR over a 7 year period deserves. Then he became a true good but not great player for the last 10 years of his career. I bet he's someone that some committee in the future votes in after taking another look at his numbers and realizing how good he actually was.
  15. Have they already started tracking ballots? I am hoping the last year on the ballot will soften enough voters to put in at least Clemens and Bonds, like they were punishing them, but I know that is very unlikely. Like I just can't give a horsefeathers about the baseball HOF when they put in guys like Harold Baines (not to mention keep outward racists like Cap Anson in there) and not Barry horsefeathering Bonds. Bonds and Clemens seem the most obvious but eventually guys like Manny, ARod should be in there.
  16. Iowa is sitting right there. Also Wyoming and Air Force come to mind. I can’t say Wyoming has ever come to mind for to me anything
  17. Is it confirmed that Fields is out for the year? If there’s still a chance he can start again before the end of the year, there’s still some reason to keep watching… I’ve heard no reports suggesting that it was even possible he was out for the year In my OP I was referring to fields not playing for 5 weeks, but I guess I meant 1/2 of football in 5 weeks 1) bye, 2) 1/2 vs Ravens, 3) Lions, 4) Cardinals, 5) week between now and Packers
  18. 19 seconds left to set a new season high in offensive points. Previous high is 24
  19. The fact that Pace and Nagy thought he would keep them competitive enough to start him over Fields is yet another strike against them
  20. Hard to win when your QB throws 4 interceptions
  21. Appreciate the veteran leadership Andy is showing by sucking so bad that even a galaxy brained moron like Nagy can’t considering starting him when Fields is healthy
  22. This is going well
  23. This is a dream right? Harbaugh really brought Michigan to the CFP? Unreal. So glad I stuck with him over the last coue of years. I did wobble a little bit after the MSU game but at the end of the day he was going to do it eventually if he got by OSU Also, the results of today are not great for their playoff shots. I think they can win but it’s going to be a pretty big upset if it happens. If they are going to lose, just have a better showing than MSU had a few years ago
