It’s just a talent disparity. Same thing when people get skull drugged by Bama. In the last 5 recruiting cycles, Michigan’s average class ranking is 14th, whereas Georgia’s is 2nd. Georgia probably has 3rd string players that would start for Michigan. The difference between 2nd and 14th is probably the same difference between 14th and 40th. It sucks, this is why I always say I don’t like college football as much as other sports. Sour grapes sure but there are seemingly always 2-3 teams that are ridiculously better than the next best teams

Fields limited again today. These games are meaningless so maybe that’s playing into it but I’m definitely concerned about the multiple injuries that have lingered longer than initially expected.

Wanted to specify in the title that this is NOT the final game of the season, lest I make anyone think that the season is mercifully over. But it is the final home game and the last chance for the home fans to chant 'Fire Nagy'. I think Fields will start but not sure. Interesting subplot is that his old QB rival at UGA Jake Fromm might start for the Giants. Bears are 6 point favorites somehow

We’ve beaten the schedule thing to death and the Bears are not a good football team but just looking at how the Dolphins went from 1-7 to 8-7 and saw their schedule. I think even the Bears would go 5-2 with this schedule vs. 4-11 Houston vs. 8-7 Baltimore @ 4-11 Jets vs. 5-10 Carolina vs. 4-11 Giants vs. 4-11 Jets @ 7-8 Saints with emergency QB so bad they were begging Drew Brees to unretire this week

Weird predicament for the Giants next weekend. Coming into today the Bears were projected to give the Giants the 5th pick and the Giants were set to draft 6th. If the Giants beat the Bears it hurts their draft stock and if the reverse happens it hurts their other draft spot. I guess root to tie or a covid cancellation?
