  1. Man I didn't even realize that Dalton has $5m in dead money on next year's cap. I thought it was a clean cut 1 year deal. So we're going to be paying $12.6m for Foles and Daton regardless next year.
  2. am i missing something here? It's 2022. That tweet is from a year ago. fvck me. Sorry, disregard lol. But there is a lot of buzz from THIS january (as in January 2022, the year after 2021 that we presently exist in) that he's coming back to Michigan. We'll see
  3. Balas is pretty reputable as a Michigan insider, but haven't seen anyone else pick this up yet. And yes this was tweeted 2 days ago, so grain of salt it, but there's a lot of buzz on Michigan boards i frequent with similar reports.
  4. Someone asked about the $15/job offer and he basically said take anything Olin says with a grain of salt and Olin didn't tell the whole story. And basically doubled down on the answer (but joked he hopes Olin tells that story while he's inducted into HOF).
  5. Well bad ownership aside, all it takes is a good hire for the trajectory of the franchise to change IMO. The Steelers were the joke of the NFL from their founding until the early-70s and are now one of the most successful franchises of the Super Bowl era after hitting on 3 coaches in a row (Noll, Cower, Tomlin). I’m sure there was more to it than that, but the right hires went a long way. Sucks that we have to hope they accidentally get it right, but I’m glad we get to start anew again and have hope.
  6. That was pretty good and funny. Balls in Olins court now he responded on twitter already, i edited my post to add it
  7. The thought that keeps going through my head while listening to this is "looking forward to doing this again in 4 years"
  8. Just did. She's "very, very disappointed." Yeah whoops, I am a couple minutes behind. So glad we got that, really needed to know.
  9. How has no one asked him how mad Mom is?
  10. Joe Judge is George Costanza. He spent the last few weeks intentionally trying to get fired (I can only assume by some of the things he did), but didn't. Maybe he should get "caught" coaching the Jets or something to finally get canned.
  11. Just show a highlight reel of the throws in that game to anyone they interview. All the talent is there...he just needs the right person to unlock it.
  12. Yeah.... I'll listen to him on reporting, but some of his personal takes this year have been spectacularly awful.
  13. Since this guy was steadfast in maintaining that he was hearing Nagy and Pace were gone even when many reporters were saying Pace was safe, he gets a shred of credibility:
  14. Didn't Virginia have 11 children? Tried Mike, tried George. Lets just keep trying a new one every couple of years until we find one that's competent.
  15. Brown's an interesting candidate, but I'm definitely LOLing at pretending like Quenton Nelson was a savvy pick. He was the best O-line prospect in like a decade. Taking him when they did was a smart move. It's not like he was the consensus #1 overall pick. He was rumored to the Bears a couple spots later. They could have traded out of the spot. Teams often shy away from guards that early, but they did it. They deserve credit for making the right decision. This is true but it's funny that the last 3 Tackles the Bears have taken in the 1st were Gabe Carimi, Chris Williams and Marc Colombo while the last Guard the Bears have taken in the 1st was Kyle Long.
  16. I really wanted to create my “Guess what an idiot with a visor did this time (Get fired!)” thread but I’ll settle for Nagy and Pace being gone
  17. The tweet isn’t loading for me. What did it say
  18. Whats the risk of losing the playoffs against the gain of playing Cincy over KC. Damn you just changed my view, good call. Once the raiders got into LAC territory with 3 mins left, it was pretty low risk. If the chargers get the ball back they are likely running out the clock. The only danger is a pick 6 or a blocked kick returned for a TD. I’m just salty because that would have been such an amazing story to see that game end as a tie.
  19. Honestly that was so lame. People will praise the Raiders for having integrity and playing for the win but let’s be honest, they made decisions that decreased their chances of making the playoffs. Should have never attempted a kick.
  20. Wasn’t there only 2 seconds on the play clock? It makes sense to set your defense since the raiders could have been playing for the win.
  21. This game has given me more joy than the Bears have combined over the last 3 years
  22. Bulls went from up 10 just before halftime to down 20 lol The defense has been very bad lately, masked by the fact that we’ve played mostly bad teams during the 9 game win streak. Need to get Caruso back and get back to what they were doing earlier in the year. Of course just one loss, can’t take much from it, just some observations from their recent play
