  1. 3rd drive today Nagy just gives up on due to a negative play on 1st down Like what is Nagy even doing? It’s no wonder they can’t score when they just give up on multiple drives in a game
  2. 2nd straight MNF game where the refs blatantly screw the Bears. Unreal…I was looking forward to watching the Bears offense not score again.
  3. Nagy has an extreme conservative mindset and is too stubborn to adjust his philosophy based on the situation his team is facing. For an example: if you are a good team with an elite defense maybe it’s defensible to settle for a FG on that last possession. However when your job and season are on the line, your defense is missing the entire secondary and you are given a gift turnover, most would not waste a chance to tie the game before halftime. But for Nagy his playbook reads “regardless of what happens we’ll only be down 1 score at halftime so let’s play it safe”
  4. I hope I jinxed it
  5. Bears 4 drives this half. Here is how they ended: -Gave up on drive after a negative 1st down play -Lost Fumble -Lost Fumble -Gave up on the drive after a negative 1st down play
  6. Another touchdownless half for the Matt Nagy Bears
  7. Fields ball security is unbelievably bad. 11 fumbles in 10 games is terrible
  8. Lol Jenkins penalty on the first offensive play
  9. Add “Acquired a future Pro Bowl player in a midseason trade” to Pace’s resume. Quinn and Grant make the Pro Bowl. The real Pro Bowl not the 6th string after everyone drops out Pro Bowl
  10. Do anyone know anything about ESPN's BPI stat, other than it probably sucks because it's by ESPN? It has the Bulls as the 21st best team in the NBA due to (I think) results so far this year, and has them going 26-28 the rest of the season. I'm guessing its based on plus/minus numbers that have hated the Bulls and particularly guys like DeRozan and LaVine since before the season started. https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/page/Basketball-Power-Index/espn-nba-basketball-power-index
  11. So with yesterday's results, every Bears opponent so far this year except the Lions is .500 or better when not playing the Bears. A bit misleading because the CLE/LV result today will push one of those teams below .500 unless they tie. LAR: 8-4 CIN: 8-5 CLE: 6-6 DET: 2-9-1 LV: 6-6 GB: 9-3 TB: 9-4 SF: 7-6 PIT: 6-6-1 BAL: 7-6 DET: 2-9-1 ARI: 9-4 GB: 9-3
  12. It's a good point... Fields could be having standard rookie struggles AND be greatly held back by terrible coaching/team, which would dip him into historically poor numbers relative to other QBs. Not to say that other rookies haven't had bad coaching, but its a bit of a unique situation. Also again it's 9 games. He does have some things he needs to work on but if you parse the numbers out, he's doing some things well and has shown enough flashes to keep my faith high. If he's still in this range this time next year, then sure I'll be concerned.
  13. Didn't expect to wake up and find a Justin Fields hit piece Love comparing full seasons to 9 start sample sizes lol
  14. https://twitter.com/zachlavine/status/1472770442733801472?s=21 Deleted Ahh. It said “DEMAR DEROZEN”. Guessing he deleted It because he spelled his teammates name wrong but the broadcast referenced the tweet lol

  16. The entire secondary has covid. Ouch. And they still weren’t fully masking at practice. Bet the over
  17. Finally a breakthrough goal in the 89th minute by Bassett. Anyone else bothering to watch this friendly?
  18. Knew this would happen eventually
  19. Woo hoo. That means Coby, Green and DeRozan will be back at the very least, possibly Matt Thomas and I think even DJJ has a shot before Sunday. We can actually cobble together a decent lineup know what some degree of depth.
  20. Feel like all active sports are going to have to come to a decision on whether to pause their seasons for a couple of weeks or change the restrictions to let vaccinated players play. Omicron is going to get a lot more worse before it gets better in terms of number of infections.
  21. Yeah bowls are pointless. People kept attacking Harbaugh for his bowl record (on top of the MSU/OSU stuff) and I just couldn't find it in me to care. I don't think I've ever watched an entire Michigan bowl game in a decade. Seems like a pointless exhibition to me. Most teams play their big rivalry game the last week of the season so its sort of a climax to the season. But instead, you take a 5 week break before watching your team play one more game in a neutral location with nothing on the line. If they win, great. If they lose, whatever. I'm sure the players feel the same way except some of them have millions on the line.
  22. Maybe the Chicago Department of Safety can get involved like they did with the Bulls. But don't postpone the Bears game just cancel it.
