  1. Wow Robertson just completely lost his command
  2. And Robertson is about to blow it lol. Just like the Rizzo HR off Hader game in 2018
  3. That was a bullet too. Such a fun feeling when you see the bounce and realize that an inside the park HR is possible. Love homering off Hader
  4. Cubs bailed out by having Yelich’s spot in the order come up at the right time
  5. Starting to really get excited about Steele and Keegan. Blame me when he blows up next inning.
  6. I wish the Cubs would win more extra innings games, mostly because I don't want my complaining about how much I hate the extra innings rules to seem like sour grapes
  7. I haven't kept up with the NBA cap like I used to many years ago, but aren't they likely need to use additional space in season that would push them over that then? The tax is only applied at the end of the season so they could add during the season and cut someone to stay below the tax. heck they could have went over this offseason and made a trade or cut someone during the season. Seems like they don’t even want to come close to messing around with the tax
  8. Bulls conveniently 500k below the luxury tax line…
  9. That’s hilarious. Atmosphere was great tonight, obviously a bit sore that he lost to a bad team
  10. There’s a group of Cubs Twitter that trolls the opposing teams Twitter account after a win which is weird but whatever. That said, this one always makes me laugh:
  11. Such a weird season. They’ve had stretches where they’ve been absolutely plummeted and barely look like they should be a major league team and then other stretches where they look pretty competent and dare I say almost enjoyable
  12. I'm sure it can all be figured out but I thought ND was pretty much locked into the ACC if they join a conference. Plus they almost certainly will not join a conference unless absolutely forced too. And if they did join a conference they seem to have little appetite to join the Big Ten despite multiple reasons it makes a lot of sense. If Oregon and Washington want to join the Big 10 I feel like they should do it.
  13. Guess were not penciling in Sampson's name next to Steele and Thompson in next year's rotation
  14. lmao, guessing thats the last of the MLE and will avoid the tax. I'm not sure what the point is as he's ok defensively but doesn't solve any of the major issues the Bulls had last year.
  15. That series was depressing af. Nearly forgotten about it until now. Thanks. The one that killed me was DeRosa grounding into a double play with the bases loaded and 1 out against a washed up Livan Hernandez down 3-1. Believe it was on a 3-1 count too after Livan walked the bases loaded and the pitch was going to be a ball. Sorry, I just made it worse didn't I?
  16. I remember when we used to refer to him as One Pitch Rich or OPR for short. Boggles my mind that he's still playing. Other Rich Hill facts: -This will be the 5th time facing the Cubs in his career (not including playoffs). The only team to face Rich Hill less in his career are the Dodgers -His career 1.74 ERA against the Cubs is the best against any opponent by a considerable margin -He has also dominated the Cubs in the playoffs, allowing 1 run in 11 innings in his 2 starts (both Cubs losses). He also sort of dominated the Cubs in his lone postseason start for the Cubs, allowing 3 runs in 3 IP in an elimination game against the Diamondbacks.
  17. So we signed a slightly taller Tristan Thompson
  18. In things that will be much easier to divide when Civil War 2 happens. 11.2 of the 16 Big Ten Schools will be in 2020 Blue States. The 4.8 in red states: Iowa, 80% of Nebraska, Ohio State, Indiana, Purdue Conversely, 15 of 16 SEC schools will be in 2020 Red States. Only Georgia plays in a blue (for now) state
  19. Rotate title game between there and Indy? And McCaskeyville right? Right??
  20. Bamba, Boucher, Hartenstein, some I'm forgetting and even some of the wing options that I've seen mentioned like Oladipo and PJ Tucker are off the table. I'm guessing the Bulls are going after Gallinari Rim protector would be nice (though I'm more wanting to replace Vooch than back him up), but I think I'd prefer Gallinari to any of the bigs who have signed. Doesn't play D, but has size and can shoot. 2 birds, 1 stone guy. Doesnt seem like that's happening either, though certainly could change
  21. I only see two reported deals (Monk and Jordan) there have been dozens of signings already. woj and shams are tweeting every minute Bamba, Boucher, Hartenstein, some I'm forgetting and even some of the wing options that I've seen mentioned like Oladipo and PJ Tucker are off the table. I'm guessing the Bulls are going after Gallinari
  22. Basically every rumored big man target we've heard connected to the Bulls has signed with other teams over the first 10 minutes of FA
