  1. Fields will not break the record
  2. Someone did a really detailed Bears offseason projection with 2023 depth chart. I have to admit I don’t know whether this is a good plan or bad plan but figured I’d share it. Thoughts?
  3. I don’t think FPI takes into account things like “losing allows us to draft Bryce Young”
  4. If the facts in the RT are true it definitely seems like Gio’s mom would have been the one to threaten to expose him. Has a reason to have a beef with Gregg and would know the details behind a story from 30+ years ago that only a friend of a couple at the time would know.
  5. Chicago will get it. Bettman wants Bedard in a major market I don't believe in these conspiracies. Why did Connor McDavid end up in Edmonton when the Maple Leafs were in that lottery? Why did Zion end up in New Orleans? Why did Cleveland get 3 #1 picks in a 4 year span? There's no conspiracy, though I'm sure they'd love it if the Hawks won the lottery.
  6. The Bears currently have the hardest SOS in the league (though likely aided by almost everyone beating them) and will now play the 12-4 Vikings to finish the season. Bears SOS is currently .560, next best team is the Commanders at .541. Scenario: 1st overall: Bears loss and Texans win 2nd overall: 1) Bears loss and Texans loss or 2) Bears win and Cardinals and Broncos both win 3rd overall: Bears win and either Broncos or Cardinals win, but not both 4th overall: Bears win and Broncos and Cardinals both lose May be some scenarios I'm missing and horsefeathers dealing with ties but those are the most obvious
  7. Trying not to get too excited about it. Worst record still only gives you an 18.5% chance at number 1 overall and probably similar odds for number 2.
  8. Yes, the agent is just saying he has been intubated. Things are far from good. Obviously being intubated is pretty damn bad, but his vitals stabilizing has to be a positive sign, no?
  9. They will change the schedule to accommodate more off days if they have to. No they aren’t playing 3 times in 7 days. They aren't going to modify the playoff schedule and, outside of that, there simply isn't enough time to work with. Both teams are already in the playoffs, so this is a pretty easy decision. Cancel the game and wherever the teams fall in terms of winning percentage is where they are seeded. While acknowledging that this is the least important part of this situation, curious to see how fantasy leagues handle this as I'm sure there are a ton of championship games that are resting on this game given how many fantasy relevant players are on the 2 teams.
  10. Lmao they had to add 2 extra columns to this graph so that the Bears could fit in
  11. horsefeathers the defense. What if we just spent 80% of our resources on offense and the remaining 20% on the defensive line? Maybe there's diminishing returns at some point but there have been plenty of examples of good teams who have really good offenses and below average defenses.
  12. Eberflus just confirmed that Fields will be starting next week.
  13. Man, i can't believe the Broncos lost in KC against the Chiefs. Sure going in. But got my hopes up when the Broncos were Leading in the 2nd half and when the Broncos had a chance to win on their final possession
  14. Barring a miracle in KC, Broncos and Cardinals both lose. Good great grand
  15. The Lions have 514 yards of offense today
  16. 7 sacks of fields vs 13 pass attempts
  17. Well now the Broncos and Cardinals are both losing
  18. If they both win that will clinch the 2nd pick right? Yes, and next week becomes largely irrelevant. Always a chance the Texans beat the Colts but based on the way they’re playing today they know they can’t afford to win any more games this year.
  19. If they both win that will clinch the 2nd pick right?
  20. This looks like the Browns game from last year. Fields can’t do horsefeathers
  21. I thought Claypool was supposed to be playing today. I don’t remember seeing him and it looks like he doesn’t have a target.
  22. This game is going to end 45-10 isn’t it?
  23. So much for HITS
  24. lmao a draw on 3rd and 18 turns into 35 yards
