actually, Dusty's walking them loaded to get to Burrell... I don't like throwing 8 consecutive balls on purpose to get to a situation where you can't walk someone. Utley's not very good against LHP, pitch to him, then walk Abreu. Setting up this little margin for error is not smart. We have a winner! Putting the Cubs bullpen in a situation where it can't throw balls is a terrible decision. -

I can't recall the Cubs ever having success against Wagner. He's really good. Lee hit a game tying HR off Wagner in May, but the Cubs lost

Agreed. That was a great opportunity to have a big inning, no reason not to have someone as hot as Murton up there. But then again, how hot can you be if you haven't faced live pitching in 3-4 days.

Here is a fun fact of the Cubs offensive woes. The Cubs have hit just 1 home run in their last 7 games, which was Henry Blanco's HR in the second game of the Arizona series

The slaughter rule in baseball is 3 runs right? They can't expect a team to get that many runs in one game
