    So even if the Marlins win tomorrow and win the Mets game the Cubs needed to just go 11-11 after the Giants series to make the playoffs. Instead they’ve gone 7-14 so far. edit: and actually probably could have gone 9-13 if they do better than 1-6 against Arizona

    I agree but the marlins earned it down the stretch. Their schedule was impossible and they did well enough

    3 outs from the official end. It’s been real. I predicted in early August that the marlins were going to be our hardest opponent for the wild card

    Canario was called up to start September and was on the team all except for 2 days and is hitting .364. Clearly he led the Cubs to the playoffs right?

    Cubs fail to get a runner from 3rd home with 1 out, drink the person who failed was Dansby, finish your beer but it wasn’t a strikeout so umm…take a hit of your joint?

    Obviously I’m rooting for the Marlins to have to fly to NYC on Monday to finish us off, however unlikely it is, but I guess a good outcome of being eliminated tonight is we can let PCA start and play a full game tomorrow without pressure of taking key meaningful ABs

    Canario in the lineup tonight. Kind of hope the Cubs get eliminated tonight so PCA gets a start tomorrow. I mean obviously I’d rather they make the playoffs but that’s not happening

    This is probably one of those stats that needs more context around it before you can knock a QB for it right? Like on its own, especially in college with 3 man rushes and stuff, time to throw doesn't mean slow to process. But if slow to process is a concern then time to throw can be used as evidence to support this concern.
