I said this a couple weeks ago I’ve never seen a team get out at home in those situations as much as the Cubs. I understand it’s go on contact and I agree with it but it seems to always burn us

Wow 3 JJ McCarthy INTs, 2 inside the 10 yard line. He had 3 INTs all of last year in the regular season. I guess the rule that I am never allowed to experience rooting for a great QB is still in place

Colorado is on fire. Beating SF 9-3 now. Any loss is helpful but of course it’s the one team we own the tiebreaker over

It depends on how well this cold streak lasts. The way this team has gone they could easily flip a switch and go 8-2 and looking like playoff locks. They are playing bad but baseball teams dont play bad forever. Get through this weekend 1-1, get another off day and then on paper a really easy homestand. I'd rather be in our position than the other teams. Baseball is just a really weird sport, you look terrible one day or for a few days and all of the sudden things click again. Doesn't make sense to make predictions of doom or prosperity. (See this is pre-game rationality before irrational UMFan gets emotionally invested in a game)
