    Who is with me? Who else watches games half hoping that the Cubs don't score because you know they aren't anywhere close to a respectable team, so you might as well cheer for them to not score so you can calculate ridiculous futility statistics. Who else just doesn't care anymore?

    most specifically, the 3rd, 17th, 33rd, 34th, 38th-44th, 51st, 54th, and 64th-73rd. though the 21st one kinda made me mad. i have to admit, however, i rather liked the 49th. Ahh yes, the 49th was a beaut. I couldn't believe he managed to connect with that pitchout and send it hurtling towards the second baseman

    I also noticed in that game that both sides are actively engaging in the practice of scoring runs. That's a pretty sweet sight.

    Hmmm.... I have 3 in 57 innings: 11 innings, 0 runs Friday (L, 1-0) 9 innings, 0 runs Thursday (L, 6-0) 9 innings, 1 run Wednesday (L, 8-1) 9 innings, 0 runs Tuesday (L, I forgot - 0) 9 innings, 2 runs Monday (W, 2-1) 9 innings, 0 runs Sunday (L, 9-0) 1 inning, 0 runs on Saturday (scored 0 runs in the 9th, L, 16-2) Thats an average of 1 run ever 19 innings, 1 run every 2 games and 1 inning. Plus we haven't hit a HR in 7 games. Wow

    We were discussing in the game thread, the 1992 Cubs were shut out 4 games in a row, and 5 out of 6 games. Except, in that 6th game, they scored 5 runs in a win, so even that stretch we scored 5 runs in 6 games, beating our current mark of 3 runs in 6 games.

    The last two times I turned to the White Sox game, I turned it on right as a White Sox home run was entering the outfield stands. So in 30 seconds of watching the White Sox, I've watched them score more then then I have in 9 hours of watching the Cubs the last 3 games.....
