Right field sucks! Right field sucks! Says the man sitting in the UDR seats! I'll take 518 and 523 over the bleachers on most days. 527 is nice, too. What was Z's batting average last year, and why did he bunt with 1 out? Z hit .300 last year. And I certainly like UDR over ANY Terrace Reserve seat.

I heard Jim Edmonds is one of the players that has chosen to use the pink bats. No word on whether he is really doing this for the cause, or whether he is taking this opportunity to use a pink bat in a game. I kid I kid That is really nice of Jim to support the cause -
By the way what is worse: WAAAAY Overpaying for a guy hitting .219/.324/.273/.597 with 8 SB Or way overpaying (in prospects) for a guy hitting .230/.275/.300/.575 with 11 SB, because you couldn't sign the other guy. Looks like so far, Hendry was in a lose lose situation regarding his quest for a leadoff guy

What trash did we get in return for Patterson again? Nate Spears has a .225/.329/.239/.568 line at Daytona! Well, excuse me while I clean up my drool. Yuck! The other player we got for Corey, Carlos Perez, has this line out of the Daytona bullpen... 13 IP, 26 H, 3 HR, 14 BB, 14 K, 10.38 ERA For those scoring at home, that's a 3.08 WHIP. Sadly, we RAVAGED the O's in that deal

You have evidence that the added seats haven't contributed to player expenses and won't? And internet broadcasts? I really don't know where you're referring to there. Let's not forget that the Trib will be paying the $40+ million bill on the Wrigley Field campus renovations and will not take any of that money out of the Cubs' payroll. Do we have proof? Besides that the payroll has dropped since last season. $40 million is nothing when its offset by 2,000 more seats sold per game, not to mention selling the naming rights to the bleachers, dropping payroll, Cubs garage sales, and raising ticket prices.
