Yeah in my heart of hearts, I know it was probably just precautionary to not play him, but this isn't the Orioles or Padres we are talking about, its the freakin Cubs so his career has officially been PRIORatized
Is this more or less random then Roberto Hernandez breaking Cal Ripkens nose during the All Star photo shoot, causing Cal to almost break his consecutive games streak?
Dammit guys, Dusty should be to blame for this one. He obviously spoke to Garner before the game and told him that using young pitchers to close the game is a horrible idea, so he put in Hoffman.
Hope you fight through this and get better That said, Dusty is a nice guy. But he is not right for the Cubs. He just isn't. I'm sorry, but you have to look past him being a nice guy and look at the facts square in the face.
Well I've been listening to the score all day, and they are much more optimistic of Dusty's firing then you guys. In fact, the update guy has been saying all day that sources tell the Score the Hendry is currently putting together a list of replacements for Dusty.
Eyre took time out from eating hohos and injuring Derrek Lee to rip the Tribune for speculating about Dusty's job status. Sorry partner, if you don't like it, don't read the Tribune and cry us a river. You can use your millions of dollars you make playing a kids game to wipe your tears away. http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseball/cubs/cs-060709cubsbits,1,279692.story?coll=cs-home-headlines For the love of Kent...
When does each of the major club leagues begin? (Spanish league, Premiership, Italian league). I think I am ready to take the next difficult step in soccer fandom and start following the game at the club level.
Thanks for reminding me. Have u had any experience/success getting general public tickets? I can imagine it being quite difficult with 8 games and about 20,000 tickets per game available.
