    OK, thanks for bringing me down off my Bears high. I now know this team isn't as good as the first 2 weeks. Probably not as bad as today, but we are really going to hear it from analysts after this one

    I think hes just making a blanket statement because he refuses to discuss the issue until the season is over. I don't see any sign of resigning in that statement.

    There was a time where the Reds' home opener was THE game on Opening Day. No games in Japan or Mexico back then, just the Reds opening on Monday and everybody else starting on Tuesday. For awhile I believe they had the designition of having the earliest start time on Opening Day too. Something about being the oldest team in baseball.

    First time I read that I missed "one of". It's gonna be hard for him to ever reach Lawrence Taylor in my book. But I think he can end up in the Derrick Thomas class, and probably a notch below Derrick Brooks at the OLB position. There are some pretty good MLBs that I don't think he will catch either, Ray Lewis, Singletary and others. And I was one of the people that thought Merriman was severely overrated last year. He was not a pro-bowler to me, but definitely showed enough flashes to warrant it. Now it would be a crime if he's not there each of the next 10 years. Still, he's the 2nd best OLB on his own team! Shaun Phillips on the other side is a star! Merriman's alright. I'll give SD Hillenmeyer for him. How do you like my chances? :mrgreen: Briggs, Urlacher, Merriman....sounds quite nice :) Think we should get Ray Lewis to back them up in case of injury?

    Wow thats amazing, your putting in more work then I am. I am going to put them on the schedule, but in italics, because they aren't confirmed officially (even though we know its going to happen) and the dates and locations aren't confirmed for all. Thanks!

    Excellent deduction, Sherlock! *post meant as humor. please do not take seriously. Well there is a chance the last team is from the AL Central because the desparity of teams from the AL West vs. the Central. The Pirates are dealing with something similar.

    Considering the weather, I'm not too surprised. I figured it would be low scoring. We'll see if OSU makes any adjustments in the second half. Have the announcers said anything about JoePa? I've been watching the Cal-ASU game. They said he's battling the flu, so I'm guessing he probably had to poop Happens to the best of us
